Here we get the lowdown from those in the know as we delve into exactly what it is that makes people want to move to Brighton.

We wanted to talk to some of the Brighton residents that sing its praises on the daily.

Today, Compare My Move is talking to Brighton Bloggers Fizzy Peaches (@fizzypeaches) and Ali Hemsley (@alihemsley). They tell us their thoughts on living in Brighton.

Fizzy Peaches

Lyndsay Gardner aka Fizzy Peaches is a Brighton Blogger and a new Mummy that loves to share her experiences raising her baby girl with her partner V and living in Brighton.

Originally creating the Fizzy Peaches blog as a lifestyle and travel blog, her life experiences making a home with V and together becoming mummies has been wonderfully documented through her articles along with lots of lovely pictures of beautiful Brighton.

“The best thing about living in Brighton is that it's such a colourful, creative and diverse city. There is always something going on - music and food festivals, the annual Pride Parade and so much more.

Brighton's iconic beach is bustling in the summer, the perfect spot for sunbathing, cocktails a BBQ or catching a glimpse of the beautiful sunset over the West Pier.
For rentals, the Preston Park area is popular as properties can be better value for money, more spacious, yet this area is still walking distance from the centre of the city.
If you are visiting Brighton, have a go on the i360 - as the world’s tallest moving observation tower you'll see breath-taking panoramic views over the city. “

If you are thinking of moving with a family then be sure to follow Fizzy Peaches on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook to get a good idea of what life is like with babies and pooches by the sea.

Ali Hemsley

Ali Hemsley is a recent winner of the ‘Top Inspirational Blog’ at The Activity People’s 2017 Blogging Awards. Ali proudly and bravely shares her experiences with Chronic Fatigue and Chronic Joint Pain in her blog and how living a healthy lifestyle in Brighton has changed her life.

23-Year-Old Ali views exercise as a privilege and not a chore. On her blog, you can learn about how to live a balanced life in Brighton including beautiful beaches to run along and great places to eat. We asked Ali to tell us her favourite things about living in Brighton:

“My favourite thing about Brighton is the diversity - of food, people, music and things to do! There's always something exciting going on or something new to try. Brighton is a melting pot of creatives and I've never found another city with such a strong community vibe.

It's not just the sea air that makes you feel happy and healthy - the promenade is the perfect place for a walk, run or cycle; there are so many classes and gyms to try, and there's a wide variety of restaurants and cafes that cater for the health conscious, including vegetarian or vegan diners.
Brighton is at its best in summer as tourists and locals gather at the beach for BBQs and drinks or flock to the Fringe Festival. But there's plenty to do in winter too - from Christmas shopping to skating outside the Pavilion (Brighton's very own Taj Mahal). If that doesn't sound exciting enough then there's always the Christmas morning swim!”

If you are relocating to Brighton and want to know how to maintain a healthy lifestyle then be sure to follow Ali on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook for constant inspiration.
