Philip was very knowledgeable about the area and has excellent communication. He spotted a serious construction issue in our first survey that potentially saved us 1000’s. Instead of waiting for the report he emailed me on the same day so we could halt the proceedings. I didn’t hesitate to book him for the next survey. This I am pleased to say went well. Issues were highlighted in his report that was detailed, informative and speedy. It reiterated points for the solicitor and showed photos of every point. I couldn’t recommend this company highly enough.

Paul, many thanks for the review. Please do not hesitate to contact me should you have any queries, and hope your purchase now runs smoothly. Regards

    More Information

    Building Surveys

Purchasing a house is one of the largest investments you will make during your lifetime, so it pays off to be fully informed on the condition of the property you are purchasing. This is why we offer the full structural survey, an in depth report on your property after examining in detail all accessible sections of the building.

We encourage you to explain any particular issues you may have about the property before our inspection, so we can tailor our report to your particular needs. If you're planning any future alterations or work, we can identify any potential issues that may occur in the report. Older or listed buildings, and properties constructed in non-traditional ways are recommended to have a Building Survey over a HomeSurvey.

    HomeSurvey

Less detailed than a Building Survey, our HomeSurvey will nevertheless highlight any major issues or defects with the building at hand. The Homebuyers survey is perfect for potential homeowners looking for a compact, concise report on the quality of the property. We offer the ISVA HomeSurvey, which is equal to a Level 2 RICS survey, which highlights all the major issues that might affect your purchase. The report is prepared in an easy-to-read format including an overview of the property and issues that need urgent attention, maintenance issues, and issues needing further investigation.

We recommend a HomeSurvey for traditional buildings build after 1910, using standard construction techniques. For any older buildings or properties of non-traditional construction, a Building Survey will be better suited. We can give you all of the facts related to which survey will suit your particular needs, so you can make a balanced and informed decision.
