Older or listed buildings, and properties constructed in non-traditional ways are recommended to have a Building Survey over a HomeSurvey.
Less detailed than a Building Survey, our HomeSurvey will nevertheless highlight any major issues or defects with the building at hand. The Homebuyers survey is perfect for potential homeowners looking for a compact, concise report on the quality of the property. We offer the ISVA HomeSurvey, which is equal to a Level 2 RICS survey, which highlights all the major issues that might affect your purchase. The report is prepared in an easy-to-read format including an overview of the property and issues that need urgent attention, maintenance issues, and issues needing further investigation.
We recommend a HomeSurvey for traditional buildings build after 1910, using standard construction techniques. For any older buildings or properties of non-traditional construction, a Building Survey will be better suited.
