Review:Admin/customer service was good. The actual survey took less than two hours on a four bedroomed detached house with grounds. Reason given was additional time would have been spent on desktop survey. However if this was the case a lot of the answers raised in the survey would have been answered by research into planning applications. The survey in my opinion was contradictory and with many caveats. One particular concern that I had asked be checked was not covered.

More InformationRICS Home Survey Level 2
The Level 2 survey, previously known as a Homebuyer Report, is ideal for homes in good condition, built within the last 50 years and built of conventional methods and materials.
Your survey report will include a list of concerns which the surveyor considers may affect the value of the property, advice on repairs and ongoing maintenance, issues that need to be investigated to prevent serious damage or dangerous conditions, any potential legal issues and information on the surrounding area.
RICS Home Survey Level 3
Formerly known as a Building Survey, the RICS Home Survey Level 3 is recommended for large, older or run-down properties, buildings that are unusual or altered, and properties that will be subject to major works.
This survey type costs more because it gives detailed information about the structure and fabric of the property and is far more thorough than the Level 2 survey. You will receive a detailed report on a range of issues, including a description of visible defects and potential problems with the home.
Snagging Survey
Spartan Home Surveys can also assist you with Snagging Surveys for new build homes. This will highlight any defects in the construction of the home, allowing the contracting company to repair or remedy any issues before completing the home.
