More Information

Homebuyer Report

You will need a RICS homebuyer report if the property you’re buying is older than 80 years and hasn’t had any major work carried out. You shouldn’t underestimate the importance of a property survey as it allows you to highlight potential issues in the house.

We will look for any hidden issues in the property, presenting these problems in a detailed and in-depth report. We will talk you through any issues you don’t understand, using jargon-free language.

Building Survey

If the property you’re buying is an old or listed building with previous extension or renovation work, you will need our RICS building survey. Our building survey is the most in-depth survey we offer as we will carry out a thorough examination of the property’s condition and structure.

Our building survey is designed to highlight structural damage of the house you’re going to buy, allowing you to be fully aware of any issues in the house. You can then either pull out of the purchase or renegotiate the house price in order to fix the issues.
