RICS Home Survey Level 2
When you are buying a property that was built using modern and common building materials no longer than 80 years ago, you will need us to carry out our RICS Home Survey Level 2, also known as the homebuyer report. The survey will be carried out by a highly qualified surveyor.
We will examine the condition of the property, searching for any hidden damage or defects that could crop up later down the line. By spotting these issues now, you will potentially save hundreds even thousands of pounds by taking care of the issues right away.
We will present the results of the survey in an in-depth report. The report will be jargon-free and we’ll talk you through anything that you’re unsure of.
RICS Home Survey Level 3
If the property you’re buying is an older house built using unusual building materials, you will need Cambridge Surveyors to carry out our in-depth RICS Home Survey Level 3. Our level 3 survey will be a thorough examination of the house, searching for potential damage that could save you a lot of money.
We will present our findings from the survey in an in-depth report. The report will be written in plain English and easy to understand. We will be here to help with any queries you have regarding the RICS Home Survey Level 3 and its results.
Valuations
We also offer property valuations which are carried out by our RICS registered valuers. This is suitable for any type of property. The valuation is not a survey and will not give the same detail or information as the Level 2 and 3 Surveys.
The valuation will give a summary of the property and give detail of the factors which have contributed to the valuation provided.
Snagging Survey
If you’re purchasing a new build, it’s useful to have a snagging survey carried out. This survey inspects the internal and external areas of the property to ensure it’s in a good condition.
While this is something you’d expect with a new build, sometimes there can be small issues that these surveys can pick up on. This then allows them to be corrected. We can assist you with this process and our surveyors are quick and thorough in their surveying process.

Party walls can be complicated, and you will need the assistance of a party wall surveyor if you have any issues or concerns.
