When you’re buying a house that isn’t older than 80 years, remains in a good condition and hasn't had any major renovation work done, you will need our RICS Home Survey Level 2. This was previously called the homebuyers survey.
Our RICS Home Survey Level 2 is an in-depth assessment of the property you’re going to buy. We will thoroughly examine the property’s condition, searching for hidden damage and defects that would only crop up once you've moved in.
We will present our findings in an easy to read and understand report. The report will be detailed with the issues we found. You can then use your survey results to either pull out of your purchase or talk with the seller to negotiate on the price to cover any costs for repair.
RICS Home Survey Level 3
When you're buying an older property that has obvious signs of wear and damage, you will need our RICS Home Survey Level 3, previously called the building survey. Our RICS Home Survey Level 3 is the most in-depth survey, as we will examine the structural condition of the property as well as looking for any hidden damage.
We will present the findings from the survey in an easy to read report. We will talk you through the report and explain anything you don't understand.
