Previously known as the homebuyer report, the RICS Home Survey Level 2 is a very popular type of survey that is better suited to properties built less than 80-years ago or those that are in ‘good condition’. Our reports will provide you with clear, thorough and jargon-free information concerning the internal and external condition of the home. We will use the easy-to-read traffic light system to highlight any repairs that require urgent attention.
RICS Home Survey Level 3
The RICS Home Survey Level 3, previously referred to as the building survey, is a much more thorough and detailed report that is better suited to older properties or those in ‘poor’ condition. Properties that have been extensively altered and refurbished or properties made from non-standard construction will also greatly benefit from this detailed survey. Your report will highlight any hidden damage, defects or structural issues, helping you work out the cost of repairs. You may also be able to use the results to potentially negotiate the property price.
Snagging Survey
A snagging survey can highlight any faults in the construction of a new-build home. Our surveyors will review any issues so that these can be fixed before you move in. This can be hugely beneficial to those buying a home which is still under construction, preventing issues with the home further down the line.
