Cosey Homes Chartered Surveyors are a RICS registered chartered surveying company. First established in 2003, we have carried out thousands of property surveys all over the country. We specialise in offering a RICS Home Survey Level 1, 2 and 3. These were previously referred to as the Condition Report, Homebuyers Report and Building Survey.

Review:I opted for the higher survey as the property had an extension and I wanted to be sure of structural integrity. The survey that came back was alarming and it took me some time to get hold of my surveyor to discuss it which was a pain. I was also really disappointed to learn that this higher survey didn't include a valuation as the cheaper one does. How bizarre!

More InformationRICS Home Survey Level 2
At Cosey Homes Chartered Surveyors, we can offer a RICS Home Survey Level 2 (Homebuyer Survey) to help when you’re buying a house. If the house you’re buying is not older than 80 years, built using modern and common building material and remains in good condition, you will need our homebuyer report.
This is the most popular property survey. We will inspect the property for any hidden damage and property issues. You shouldn’t underestimate the importance of a property survey as it can help you to negotiate your house offer or even back out of the purchase.
RICS Home Survey Level 3
If the property you’re buying is an older building with obvious signs of damage, a renovation or extension without permission or you plan to extend or renovate, then you will need Cosey Homes Chartered Surveyors RICS Home Survey Level 3 (Building Survey).
This survey is the most in-depth survey as we will thoroughly inspect the whole property searching for hidden damage and defects. We will look for any structural damage and assess the property’s overall condition.
We will present the results from the property survey in a clear and easy to read report. We will give the property a rating of either 1, 2 or 3, depending on the condition of the property.
