A homebuyer report is a survey you should have carried out on the house you’re going to be buying. It’ll be carried out by a RICS regulated chartered surveyor with invaluable experience of the property industry.
At Fairwood Solutions, we will assess the property’s condition, searching for any structural damage that has the potential to get worse and become dangerous. Common issues we find during the homebuyer report are infestation, structural wall damage and rot.
We provide a quick turn-around on our reports after completing the survey. In the report, we will present you with a breakdown of our findings, including advice on how to handle the repairs and costs for the repairs.
Our building survey will be suited to you if your property is a listed building, created with unusual material or is in poor condition. It’ll be conducted by a RICS regulated chartered surveyor who has carried out many building surveys over 30 years.
This survey is much more thorough than any other survey as it searches the interior and exterior of the property as well as under floorboards and behind furniture. We will search for structural wall damage and any hidden defects.
At Fairwood Solutions, we will expertly give your property a condition rating, so you understand how serious the damage is from a scale of 1 – 3. A RICS regulated chartered surveyor will talk you through their findings and offer their expert opinion on the results.
