Based in Berkshire, we are Festival Energy. Our head office is in Newbury Town centre, in Oxford Street, Berkshire. Festival Energy’s director John McCusker MRICS, has over 25 years’ experience of being a RICS regulated chartered surveyor. As a team, we have an extremely in-depth and knowledgable experience of the chartered surveyors industry.
We use the latest modern technology to produce our survey reports, using jargon-free and easy to understand terms which will ensure you receive an accurate and reliable survey. Festival Energy are proud to offer a RICS HomeBuyer Report and a RICS Full Building Survey. We will aim to provide you with a quick turn-around with the survey and then with the results in the form of a report.
Festival Energy’s home buyers survey will better be suited for you if your house is modern, in good condition and has never undergone reconstruction work. Many people will underestimate the importance of a homebuyer report and regret not having one when they come across major damage they didn’t notice at first. This report will save you money in the long run.
We will look for any signs of damp, infestations and rot, searching for any areas that will need major repairing. We will present our findings in a jargon-free report using the traffic light system. A green result will mean there’s nothing to worry about and a red result will mean we found areas that need major repairs. One of our RICS verified chartered surveyors will offer their expert opinion of the condition and repair of your property.
Full Building Survey
Our RICS full structural survey is designed for houses that are older, have or plan to have major work done and that were constructed with unique or unusual material. This survey is even more in-depth than our homebuyer survey. This survey will look at the construction and structure of your property, searching for any major hidden damage and defects.
Our findings will be set out in an easy to read report, highlighting the areas we regard as major concerns. One of our RICS verified professional chartered surveyors will then provide you with their expert advice and opinions on the repairs and defects, and how best to fix them.
