More Information

Homebuyer Report

At GE Chartered Surveyors, we are proud to provide a RICS home buyers survey. This survey is essential if the property you plan to buy is in good condition, under 50 years old and hasn’t had any reconstruction work carried out.

Our homebuyer report is vital in assessing the condition of the property and will highlight any damage or defects of the property’s interior and exterior. We usually find issues such as damp and rot during our search.

Once we’ve completed the survey, we will turn our findings in to a clear and concise report where you’ll have a detailed list of the issues within the property.

Building Survey

If you’re planning on buying a property that is older than 50 years, was constructed with unique materials and have plans to undergo extension work, you will need our full structural survey. Our building survey will consist of an in-depth, comprehensive assessment of the condition of your property.

We will examine the structure of the property’s interior and exterior, looking closely at structural wall damage, behind furniture and underneath floorboards. We will search for hidden damage that can be easily missed.

We will then gather our findings and create a report with photographic evidence of the damage. We will talk you through the results, so you have a clear understanding of the condition of the property you plan to buy.
