Homebuyers Survey

At GTA Chartered Surveyors, we can offer a RICS homebuyers survey for when you’re buying a house. If the property you’re buying is fairly modern and remains in good condition, then you’ll most likely need a homebuyers survey.

The homebuyers survey is an in-depth property survey that looks at the property’s condition, highlighting any hidden defects and damage. It’s important to have a property survey as it will reveal any repair work need and allows you to even pull out of the sale if needed.

Building Survey

We can also provide a building survey to give you peace of mind before you purchase an older property. If the house you’re buying has obvious signs of damage, is older than 50 years and has had major renovation work done, you will be best suited to a building survey.

Our building survey is the most in-depth survey we offer, providing a full examination of the property’s condition and structure. The building survey will be presented in a report that’s easy to read that include photographs of the repairs and defects we mention.

Snagging Survey

When purchasing a new property, ideally you should always have a snagging survey carried out. This will help you to determine whether there are any changes that need to be made to the property before the purchase is finalised.

Here at GTA Chartered Surveyors, we are able to provide you with a snagging survey report, detailing our findings from an internal and visual inspection. Our team is very thorough in their survey reports.

Party Wall

GTA Chartered Surveyors can provide you with assistance with party walls. We understand how complicated the process can be, so we work with you to create a party wall award.

The award follows on from the inspection we carry out to determine the work that needs to be done. Our party wall surveyors will also highlight if any additional work to the party wall needs addressing.
