Home Condition Survey was first established in 2006 by James Bow. James has over 30 years’ experience in the surveying industry as well as being a RICS Registered Valuer. We have in-depth knowledge and experience of carrying out valuation and survey work across the UK and Reading and Oxford.

We are proud to offer a RICS homebuyer report and a RICS building survey to help with your house move. We have full Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance which should give you complete peace of mind.

Homebuyer Report

When you are buying a modern house or flat that was built using common building materials, you will need our Homebuyer Report. Our homebuyer report will be an in-depth examination of the property. We will assess the condition of the house, highlighting any issues or hidden damage.

By having a homebuyer report, you will be made aware of important and potentially dangerous issues in the house before you buy it. If issues arise, you can either renegotiate your offer with the seller or pull out of the sale.

If the house you’re buying is an older property built using unique and unusual building materials, you will need our RICS building survey. Our building survey is a more comprehensive and thorough examination of the property.
