If the property in question was built less than 80 years ago and is in fairly ‘good condition’, then you will require our RICS homebuyers report to assess the building. We will provide a concise and easy-to-read review of the property’s condition, highlighting any obvious defects or concerns. It will be written with as little jargon as possible with a variety of annotated photographs and diagrams for further explanation.
Our homebuyers report will have a clear 1, 2, 3 condition rating system that will alert you of any problems that require your immediate attention. Some issues that may be highlighted include signs of subsidence, woodworm or damp. The results of this survey can greatly help when negotiating your original offer.
Building Survey
Our RICS building survey is ideal for older properties that require extensive work or have had major work done previously. The report will be extremely thorough, reviewing the building’s structural condition. Again, the report will be detailed and clear with a 1, 2, 3 condition rating system to alert you of any issues that need your attention. As with our other property surveys, the report will also include annotated photographs and diagrams for further explanation.
