They were quick to respond to my initial enquiry. Their price was very competitive. We were referred another surveyor by our solicitor and for the same report they were charging almost double the amount! As promised, the report was delivered to us within 3 working days. They arranged directly with the agent for them to go survey the property which was good as it meant I didn’t have to get involved.

The homebuyers report was fine but heavily caveated. It didn’t contain an independent valuation but instead just advised that it was worth what the agreed price was (the agreed price is an obscure figure so there was no way that this was a coincidence). The survey took place two days after booking and the report was received 4 working days after.
Communication is poor. Had to chase to get the survey booked in, and no idea if the survey even took place as they have not confirmed that it went ahead as planned.
After having paid out for the survey, it would be of more comfort to the customer to keep them informed along the way.
