Compare House ClearanceHomebuyer Survey
Our Homebuyers Surveys are ideal for more modern houses and those in good condition to give you an overall idea of the condition of the property. Our client-friendly report written in jargon-free English and features energy performance ratings and colour-coded condition ratings, and we are on hand to answer any questions you may have.
All our reports follow an industry-standard format so all key elements of the building fabric are covered, providing advice on maintenance of the property and the steps to be taken before exchange of contracts.
Building Survey
This survey is better suited for older homes, homes in less than an ideal condition or those built of unconventional materials or have had major work undertaken on them. This is a more in-depth survey than the Homebuyers Survey and provides a deeper understanding of the property in question.
The survey includes descriptions of visible defects and potential problems caused by hidden flaws. For more complex building surveys, we also coordinate other specialist consultants if required. Where issues are identified we will offer recommendations for remedial works and an estimate of cost or suggest further exploratory works if deemed necessary.
The results of the survey can also benefit you when it comes to negotiating the price of the property prior to completion, based on the costs of the work required on the home.
