Review:They booked in the survey for the next day, which was great, and the report followed a week after as promised. The report was clearly written and easy to understand. I did feel that there were a number of places where the surveyor was reluctant to give an opinion, instead referring me to third parties (gas engineer, electrician, damp specialist, flooring expert...). While I appreciate they can't be an expert in every area, it meant I didn't really have a clear view of whether there were actually any problems to deal with or if those were just standard comments.

Our home buyers report or RICS Home Survey Level 2 is aimed at modern properties that are in good condition and haven’t undergone reconstruction work. This survey will an in-depth examination of your property’s condition and structure, carried out by a RICS regulated surveyor.
We will search for any hidden defect and damages that you won’t be able to spot without a surveyor. Common issues found during a RICS Home Survey Level 2 are dampness, rot and infestations. We’ll report our findings in an easy to read report set out in plain English. We’ll offer our expert opinion and talk you through any areas you’re not sure about.
RICS Home Survey Level 3
Our RICS building survey, now known as a RICS Home Survey Level 3, is more thorough than any other survey available and is the most popular amongst clients. It’s suited for buildings that have been extended or plan to get an extension or if constructed with unique building materials.
We will tailor our report to meet your requirements and give you information on the materials used to construct your property. Similar to our Level 2 Survey, we’ll carry out an in-depth examination on your property, searching the interior and exterior of your house.
