First founded in 1897, F.A Edward Orr Solicitors are one of the oldest family run law firms based in Northern Ireland. Our office is located in Banbridge where we can provide our expert services for the legal side of buying and selling a house.
We’re proud members of The Law Society's Home Charter Scheme with F.A Edward Orr having over 37 years’ experience in the residential conveyancing industry. You’ll have peace of mind knowing we only work with fully-qualified conveyancing solicitors at F.A Edward Orr Solicitors.
We are proud to offer our services to help with the purchase or sale of your house. From the moment an offer is agreed to completion day, we remain professional and reliable throughout your case with us.
At F.A Edward Orr Solicitors, we pride ourselves on customer satisfaction and making your experience with us as professional and efficient as possible. When you’re purchasing property, we will guide you through the process by taking care of the legal side on your behalf.
We will begin by gathering the contract pack which includes important documents such as the fittings and fixtures form, checking these over and sending them back to the seller’s conveyancer in order to progress with the case.
We will exchange contracts with the seller’s conveyancer and arrange a date for completion that’s suitable for everyone involved.
As your conveyancer, we will help you with the legal aspects that come with the sale of property. After you’ve agreed an offer, you will need to instruct us to begin your conveyancing case. We will liaise with the buyer’s conveyancer on your behalf and update you on any progress.
We will begin to prepare drafting the contact and exchange this with the buyer’s conveyancer. After contracts have been exchanged, we will organise a date for completion that is tailored to your needs.
Finally, we will transfer the funds from the sale to you on completion day and you will have to vacate your property for the buyer to move in.
