More Information

When you make an offer on a house, you will need to be prepared with a conveyancer from the moment the offer is accepted. You should instruct us to begin your case for the purchase after an offer has been agreed so we can offer our expert legal advice.

We will begin by gathering the contract from the seller’s conveyancer, confirming with you that all documents are correct. Next, we enquire about local, property and environmental searches to help inform your decision about going ahead with the property purchase.

Finally, we will exchange contracts on your behalf and arrange a completion day for the finalisation of your purchase. You will now be the official owner of the property with it being registered with the Land Registry.

When a buyer makes an offer on your property that you want to accept, you will need to instruct us to begin your conveyancing case. Rest assured, we remain professional and available throughout the process, updating you when progress is made and offering our legal expert advice to help with your situation.

Our main task is to prepare a draft contract featuring the fittings and fixtures form, sending this over to the buyer’s conveyancer for approving and signing.  We exchange the contracts for you and arrange a day of completion.

On the day of completion, you will receive the final funds from the transaction and will have to move out of the property, handing the keys to the buyer and new owner.
