Poor communications throughout: unable to get hold of anyone to talk with as phones permanently engaged or on answerphone with no calls being returned; a number of documents had to be resent during the protracted sales period. Fully reliant on updates from my Buyer as to what was needed in the absence of communication from my Conveyancer. Unable to reach anyone by phone (41 calls made in one afternoon with no answer), I sent emails to explain things only to be accused of inundating the Conveyancer with emails and advised that my calls going answered showed just how busy the Conveyancer was! I was advised by the Conveyancer that the property had completed on Friday afternoon (16th December) and that I had to settle my Agent's invoice - but no money was transferred until Monday lunchtime (19th December). Just as well I wasn't waiting outside to move into a property! Finally received a call back on Monday saying 'sorry not sure why the proceeds weren't transferred'.This was the third property I have sold in three years and by far the worst experience I have ever had. To start with they were slow and caused delays, they hard to get in touch with and we nearly lost our buyer. After putting some pressure on them they were fine, and got it though in the end.

They are just a sales person for solicitor, once they win your work and pass on to their useless solicitors, you will not get any support whatsoever. Avoid if possible, they are cheap for a reasons!!

Once contract for the conveyancing was agreed and a solicitor was arranged (i.e. the sale was allocated to a solicitor) everything just slowed down. It was hard to speak with the assigned solicitor. Queries were taking long to be directed, for example, it took them around 10 days for a query sent to them by the buyer's solicitor to be re-sent to me.
