We were first-time buyers and loved the use of the dashboard to be able to see how far along we were in the process. We had no issues during the whole move and got the keys 2 hours earlier than expected on the day.Our conveyancer helped explain every step of the way and was easy to contact throughout.
The whole process was unnecessarily slow. During the first 3 months of the purchase, PPL did very little work on my case at all. The lease was being extended by the previous owner and I feel that my case was therefore put to the bottom of the pile and nothing was done on it. This meant that when the lease extension was sorted by the seller, some 3 months after instruction, the bulk of the legal work was still outstanding when it could have realistically been done. A chain free purchase took 6 1/2 months. Then to top it off, 400 was added to my bill at the end for leasehold related costs, even though these costs should have been foreseeable at the point of quote, knowing that the work was for a leasehold property. Further I this, every time I phoned my conveyancer the phone would say that he was unavailable. When I selected the option to speak to another conveyancer Steve would often then pick up the phone. I suspect that this "out of office" response was put on all the time to put people off calling in.
Would not recommend if you are not on a budget. Worth paying more for a firm which does not overload their conveyancers. I was faced with errors in my quote, the team not replying to my email queries, issues on the day of exchange and completion which could have been prevented.

This company are brilliant and their set up is really transparent. The app gave me full transparency in what was going on with my house sale. Whatever I asked for was no problem and was acted on immediately on that day . Communication was fantastic which with my previous experience in solicitors as not been good. Overall would I use My Home Move Conveyancing again 100%.. And if you are assigned there conveyancer employee Ellie Baines it will be a bonus because she was fantastic..
A competent and professional service, which offers excellent value for money, and the security of knowing that you will not be charged a large fee if the transaction falls through. In our case the transaction was more complicated than expected, and having a fixed-fee arrangement in place was reassuring.
Initially was put with premier property solutions and found out my home move was part of the same company and switched. Saving around 750 despite sticking with the same conveyancer.Due to buying from a company who already had searches done the sale was able to go through within 2 months however this seemed to require a lot of following up with the conveyancer to keep things moving. This included many emails where he seemed to forget previous conversations completely. Also took leave without warning right before and after intended exchange and completion dates. Exchange was supposed to take place on the Friday but nothing happened until around 3pm, it was then still not done by 4 and I was made aware that he had finished for the week and couldn't be back until the following Thursday, the day before the intended completion date.I was then told I would have to pay 135 because of completion being less than 3days from exchange and they wouldn't be able to delay completion without re-requesting funds from my lender which could cause further delays.A month after completion I had a letter from HMRC for a 100 penalty due to a form being submitted late which I had to chase them to pay
Very helpful and efficient
I found this company really good in comparison to previous Conveyancers I have used in the past. I liked the eway portal which made reading docs and completing tasks easy, and also it was a good way of sending documents over to them. I used them for selling and buying a property and both transactions went smoothly. I would use again and recommend.
I can't rate My Home Move Conveyancing enough, this is the second time we have used them, the first was for the sale of a property and the second was a year later when we purchased our home. The portal is brilliant and is updated in real time which is a real gem.The purchase should have been plain sailing but due to number of reasons it wasn't. Paula Morris, our conveyancer, was absolutely brilliant. She was responsive, empathetic and really pushed the chain when there were delays in responding and agreeing exchange/completion dates.

You get what you pay for!Extremely stressful experience with these guys.Everything is online, no personal greetings in the emails, no support whatsoever, automated replies, robotic phone calls and complete lack of urgency with no appreciation of how stressful buying a house can be!Id have rather spent a couple of extra hundred quids with a local solicitor instead and get treated like a human not just a case number!Finding a solicitor is not something you look to save money on, youll pay more in stress and anxiety!Fair to say, they did manage to exchange the contracts.
I was apprehensive about having an 'online' conveyancer, however, MyHomeConveyancing were very professional and the process was easy and simple. Ellie was also easily contactable whenever I needed to talk to her.
Awful company to use would not recommend, they don't read notes before responding to other party making you look stupid and jeopardising house sale.
I'd highly recommend using My Home Move Conveyancing. Their help and speed, along with the use of the eWay system to track everything, made the whole process move quicker and easier than my previous house moves.Even with the purchaser's solicitor delaying the whole process, including making the exchange happen on the day of completion, Rachel and her team were constantly pushing for things to get done and always kept me informed.They were also always available immediately whenever I contacted them.Highly recommended.
Decided to go with my Home Move Conveyancing from reading the reviews and competitive price.After getting 2 different quotes and querying it we were finally given a quote (subject to checks etc) and then we received our case handler. Doubts kicked in as Yolanda business picture wasn't professional compared to others we have seen ( it was more a social media image) and she then provided a 3rd different quote, I asked her about it but she didn't seem confident nor interested when challenged this then left massive doubts about the company, I asked if it would be possible to have a new case handler.We then got Thomas who provided much more confidence and ease, the only bug bare was not being informed about a search that incurred an additional charge otherwise. Great service from Thomas (and professional business picture)

Communication was the poorest I've experienced (in 4 moves). The 'direct' number for the conveyancer always went to voicemail; it took 2-3 days for emails to be answered (and some were ignored). You can call the sales team easily, but they have limited access so can only really log a request for a callback. This was really frustrating when there was a simple but time-sensitive question that needed answering. I wouldn't use them again

I can see them being efficient for the easiest of sales, but once it gets any more complicated than a freehold it all falls apart. Impressive how poor communication can be between solicitors in the same firm. If you want to have to constantly chase for any updates and to have 6 months of your life wasted then this is the firm for you.
Received a terrible service from my conveyor, she was unresponsive to all my emails, voicemails and messages with colleagues. Frequent mistakes were made, resulting in a stressful experience with our sellers and estate agent, and a penalty fee from HMRC. The experience was extremely stressful
Individually, all my conveyancers were great. However, it was advertised as being online-only, and I spent more time in phone calls and sending physical signed copies of docs than I would have expected.
Absolute garbage and ended up doing quite a bit of the work myself, and even then 6 months later no property, an expired mortgage offer and a frustrated vendor. My alleged solicitor Gemma Hoyle took more time off sick than she did working, and failed to read emails as much as 3 weeks old. This delayed everything and in the end, it was just too late and I lost my apartment. They don't even know what they're doing and other staff are picking up the trails of mess left behind by these so called lawyers, so you'll get half answers. Just pay the extra 400/500 and go for a better company.

I know they may be cheap but better pay 2000 and have the property in 4 weeks. They have no time to do your conveyancing. Unprofessional, inefficient. They will not care about any of your complaints. They do not read your emails until you swear at them.They failed to purchase my property, and I lost my house. They messed around for 5 months and did nothing until the seller and estate agent had also fed up. The clerk dealing with my case Ms. Coaker had no capacity to do conveyancing or exchange on my property. happened although they had my money in the account and clear instructions. They have no time to deal with your case. The receptionists were nice and gave me information but this is as far as this goes. Manager Mr. Evans takes no care or notice of any of your complaints. Do not waste your time and health and money spent to call them for 6 months.
So convenient and transparent. App is a little clunky but the dashboard more than makes up for it. Didnt have to talk to anyone on the phone beyond initial conversations which is great for me as I am very nervous on the phone.

Anti-money laundering were uncommunicative, all communication was through a third person. The actual team were very proactive and the online portal was very helpful
Brilliant. Online Conveyancing is just amazing and simple. The fact that it also represents terrific value for money is the icing on the cake.My team leader, Chloe, was on the ball and very efficient. If I needed to do something I would get an SMS and an email to remind me and the tasks were simple to find within my file..I really can't recommend them enough. So pleased I took the plunge and moved away from traditional solicitors and their offices. I was and don't regret it for a minute.
The positive is that eventually I did get my place. The negatives- Very poor communication, at times I had to take matters into my own hands to get information from one side to another.- I made it very clear what we were doing on the first day, a couple of months in we had to redraft and sign some documents because they hadnt listened on day one.- Fees never given in one go. Id pay when asked and then suddenly theres another one just appeared.- I was homeless for 6-7 weeks because of how things dragged out without any transparency. This especially endangered my medical wellbeing as I couldnt sign up to a GP without a fixed address and have a lifelong chronic illness.The scariest part is that I think this might be a half decent service, so what does that say about the rest?
Lovely company to deal with and once my account was created correspondence was dealt with on line which made for a very smooth process.
I found the company very helpful they have explained the process clearly, and the online portal gives a clear view of how things are progressing. You are promted each time you have an action to complete or a document to read. In regards to communication, I usually get responses to any questions withing 24 hours. I am very happy with the service I have received so far.
Still havnt exchanged. Friendly and reasonably efficient but its slow going. Lots of computer work for me which makes me feel Im doing the work not them but its stuff they need to know to complete so not unhappy about that. My Conveyancer is lovely and very thorough-I would give her 100%. Some help with the tech side would be appreciated. Im 70. Electric typewriters has just come in when I left school!! The staff are great and very responsive. Would recommend.
It took 2 weeks for them to realise that they don't deal with modern auctions so they couldn't complete my house purchase which was very disappointingI appreciate the overall help I got from "Paula" which has made the completion possible on time but with different solicitors.
