At Wilsons Solicitors we can help you with the legal aspects that comes with buying a house. Our process will start once the seller has accepted your offer. We will liaise with the seller’s conveyancer throughout the whole process, updating you whenever progress is made.

As your conveyancer for buying a house, we will contact the seller’s conveyancer to receive the contract pack, check the pack, raise any queries you have and carry out the property and local searches.

We will arrange on your behalf when is best to complete and exchange the contracts. We will create a draft transfer deed and send to seller’s conveyancer for completion, then we will send the seller’s conveyancer the final funds and deposit.

Sale

As your conveyancer when selling, we will offer our expert advice and opinion throughout the process. Once you’ve accepted the buyer’s offer, we will carry out identity checks and send out fittings and fixture forms to the buyer’s conveyancer.

We will obtain the official copies from the Land Registry and begin to prepare the draft contract to send to the buyer’s conveyancer. Once the contract is checked by the buyer’s conveyancer, we will answer necessary queries the buyer has.

We will exchange contracts and agree on a completion date with the buyer’s conveyancer. We will then transfer you the final deposit on completion day. You can relax knowing we will let you know when there’s any updates in your case.
