Absolutely! Tom and his team Dwight and Debo were excellent. Tom was so kind and helpful in the run up to the actual move day with advice and reassurance and they were all so professional and speedy on the day. A big move from London to Yorkshire and were very friendly, thoughtful and jolly too which was much appreciated during a stressful time - they made it far less stressful than it could have been with a bad removals. Terrible communication, they ended up costing me money due to bad communication, received wrong directions from third party individuals and was not willing to hear my grievances. Quick service but slightly hostile. Hard to rate value for money since I believed I was paying for a slightly difference service (again see above bad communication). Read more

I was very happy with the service - very helpful, punctual and professional guys. I was really impressed as their removals van was very clean as I felt really comfortable with my possessions being transported in the back of it. They removed my stuff starting from 8.30am and we were finished by early afternoon. I also used their disposal service which made life easier for me as I didn't have to worry about clearing items myself. I would recommend them. Read more

Very smooth day, with minimal stress.

Tom and Adam from Advent removals were incredible. Tom contacted me (after Ia??d completed a form on CompareMyMove.com. He made me feel at ease with a stressful move and allowed enough time to not only help me pack but also help with the removal and move (without over estimating or getting me to pay any extra).
They were so quick and efficient (plus advised on best times to travel through London and also advised on where to park at the new place). All the move was done with no breakage and with a smile and chat within the time estimate.
Not only that!!! Tom and Adam also helped my boyfriend move in with me (he had ordered a cheaper service -and his guy didna??t have the right tools to secure his furniture/bits in the van which meant things got broken and not only that (despite my boyfriend paying his guy for the whole day) he only removed the items out of the van to the communal area. Tom and Adam from advent removals (just out if there own professionalism) helped my boyfriend with his furniture because his removal man had left.

Very punctual, efficient, friendly and professional. Would recommend to others.

A bit pricier than others I had looked at online, but worth paying the extra for this reliable father and son team. They arrived on time and worked quickly and carefully. Tom was always easy to contact before moving day and the day went very smoothly. Despite the awkward parking and lack of lift at my first floor flat, they moved everything without complaints. Moving home is always stressful but these guys are good at what they do and put your mind at ease. I would definitely use them again. Read more

Tom and his team were simply fantastic.
Great contact when booking, great contact on the day before arriving.
We were really worried about 1 sofa as it was a struggle to get in, but they guys managed this no problem.
We were on the 3rd floor and there was no complaints the whole team worked consistently until everything was out (we had a lot of furniture so it wasna??t easy!)

Great service and very fast

Advent were very professional and flexible and provided everything we needed to make our move as smooth as possible. Highly recommended.

I don't think the full list of items I input on comparemymove.com to be moved got to the removal company. Either that, or there was a communication error between the office and driver on this matter.

We had to move some of our items in the car as they did not fit in the removal van.

Despite these hiccups, the guys that moved us were professional and tried to make the move as unstressful as possible. Read more

They are really professionals. They were on time and very careful when moving my furniture. They even managed to move my IKEA wardrobe that was badly assembled in the first place.
