    2 vans, 4 men, all very courteous. Protected the carpets before they walked on them. Were quick, greatest care was taken with my belongings and no damage was done to the property.

    We were very pleased with the service provided by CosFreight, both on packing day and on move day. The cost was competitive, not the cheapest but we were most confident in their ability to deliver, especially as they came to view the property so knew exactly what needed to be moved. The staff were friendly, efficient and very respectful of our possessions. We also used the cleaning service on exit. The whole package took the stress out of the move. We will definitely be using them again.

    Couldn't fault Cos Freight. Customer service was excellent particularly as we had exchange and completion within 2 days of each other, they made sure that the vehicle was on standby all ready to go. Slight hitch on the day as the van was too small however rectified quickly and the guys on site were really helpful and polite. Would highly recommend them again.

    They couldn't do the day we wanted so we moved the day after
    They turned up 3 hours late
    They worked EXTREMELY hard in very hot conditions
    They were very friendly

    My overall experience with CosFreight was good. Their home survey was professional and thorough with good explanations of what was needed. On moving day a supervisor attended site to ensure we were happy. That's great! One thing I did not expect that caused a bit of confusion was that the team who showed up on moving day were a third party or affiliate with a different name. This was soon cleared up by contacting CosFreight and the affiliate provided evidence of CosFreight's instruction.

    Some items were damaged when packed such as some records where the sleeves were ripped.
    They were supposed to put back together a bed with a tv built in and when they did they assembled it back to front and it did not work so I had to take it apart and assemble it myself.
    There was also a electricial reclining sofa that they took apart and when they reassembled it that did not work anymore too. I still have to fix this.
    So not satisfied overall with the service.

We generally receive 5* reviews, as if anything if not to the client satisfaction, we always try to resolve it first. Had you contacted us at the office in regards to the bed and the sofa we would have sent the crew back to your residence to rectify this or arrange reassembly. With items that have complex reassembly there can be some minor errors but we do always have any errors fixed.     Unfortunately I was promised so much, but the delivery was disappointing. The quote was all wrong and although they promised to protect my furniture some of it was actually damaged during the move. They did not deliver as I had been promised they would.

    I am not happy and would not recommend this company all.

    Hello Ritah, thank you for your feedback, however to clarify a few points.Our quotation was based on information that was provided to us over the phone. We went through the rooms one by one to understand the volume of your belongings for which our quotation was raised against.Our teams arrived on time at 0800am to undertake the move on the day with a list of the items that had been advised to us and agreed. Even then we normally take in to account a plus minus to the list within reason. Upon arrival our crew noted the following 1.An additional 40 boxes of content 2.An additional 25 black bags (approx) 3.Further selection of miscellaneous itemsThe additional volume totaled around 8cubic metres. The vehicle that was sent to the removal was based on the advised volume, but due to the additional items we had to undertake another journey. We only felt fair that the extra work being undertaken was fairly compensated to us at £120. We do not feel this was disproportionate in any way.You would be aware that any items professionally packed or protected by us are covered under our insurance. There is a process we can assist with for any claims if required.If the physical aspect of the service fell below expectation, we apologise for this and have taken the matter further internally based on your initial feedback to us.We wish you all the best in your new home, and should you require any further clarification to this matter, or would like to speak to your move manager about resolving this matter to satisfaction, please do call us on 02088044321.

    I had a quote given after a home visit. The price was more than most other companies but decided to go with them as they seemed very trust worthy and included dismantle and assembly in their price.

    On the day the men turned up and started looking around. I had done all of the dismantling with a friend to save time. So everything was flat if it could be and ready to go. They then informed me they couldn’t fit all of my stuff in and would call the manager: he called me back and said he will see what he could do. The men left with half of my stuff and no call back at all. I had to call another company and get them to move us 100 miles away. It made a stressful day even worse. Then when arriving at the new house, I was told a full assembly service would be done but they literally dropped my stuff off and didn’t put anything together at all. As a single mum I hired a company that provides this service as I struggle to do this alone. I emailed to complain and was told I would get a response 48 hours later. Still waiting 5 days later. Not happy with the service and completely ripped off leaving half of my stuff behind. Not a happy customer and wouldn’t recommend.

    Dear Ms Marsh, having reviewed your file.I can advise the following. Your move list was made of the following. 1 king bed + mattress, 1 single bed + mattress, 3 single wardrobes, 2 ikea storage units (16m holes), 1 dining table, 4 chairs, 1 hoover, 2 washing baskets, 5 chests of drawers, 1 fire place + electric fire, 1 x two seater sofa, 1 x three seater sofa, 1 large TV + TV stand, 1 small desk, 2 x narrow bookshelves , 1 fridge freezer, 1 washing mashing, 1 dishwasher, 1 microwave, 1 small chest freezer.TOTAL VOLUME ESTIMATED 486cuft/13.86cbm. As such we quoted on a 15cbm Luton van for a full removal service. As per the survey, it was specifically advised to our surveyor that you will only need us taking your furniture items (bulky stuff) and any items such as boxes, clothes, pictures, mirror and kitchen items will be taken by yourself as you were completing multiple trips back and forth from Gravesend. The service did include reassembly of furniture also. We had also promised, if there was space on the van, we would take some additional items. Our team even filled your cupboards with bags as to not lose any space.Upon arrival to your property, we loaded ALL SURVEYED items on to the van. None of the surveyed items were left behind. We then also loaded an additional 10 boxes of content and approximately 20 black bags of clothing. As such, we completed our service as per the quotation, volume, piece count (plus extras) and vehicle size.Upon arrival to your destination home, you were not on site, and as such our crew was dealing with your mother and daughter. The crew placed all the furnitures in to the required areas as instructed, but were asked by your mother to place all boxes in the front room, despite our team advising that we normally place the items in to their relevant rooms. She advised, that her daughter (you) would sort out the boxes when she returns. As for the bed, this could not be reassembled as the fittings could not be located at the time to put the beds back together, as the beds had already been disassembled by you. All other items, such as doors to your cupboards etc were rehung.We can understand your frustration with moving and not understanding the volumes of your own personal belongings. We have however completed all services for which were surveyed, loaded and transported, and clearly mentioned on your quotation in writing. Whilst you can write your review how you please, in light of the above facts, your review is not an accurate or a fair reflection of the situation nor the service we provided.
