I chose Decent removals because they were the only company who would send a member of staff to survey the property and furniture. Edwina arrived was friendly, efficient and organised. She was a great point of contact on the phone and via email. The removal team were careful, efficient and fast. They would not stop for a tea break at either end despite being offered drinks.It was a really good experience and I would recommend Decent Removals to everyone. A very happy customer! Read more

Initially they seemed quick and responsive. We paid for packing materials, 150 got us some used boxes, bubble wrap and three rolls of tape. They required payment by bank transfer before the move. Unfortunately I didn't consider how badly it could go.They were unable to dismantle a desk because they didn't have any Allen keys. Most of the boxes were crushed, showing how little they cared. Two pieces of furniture have large black grease stains on them. When I contacted them about this I was told their insurance only covered items that are totally destroyed. Unfortunately because I had paid by bank transfer, I was stuck with this awful response. Do not use these people. They are little more than a man and van service. They don't appear to have legitimate insurance and as soon as the move is done you won't get any help. I'm sure if they had destroyed something, they would have found another excuse. Read more

Yes, good professional staff did a good job

I had to pay extra for packaging materials and packing service. Some of the packing boxes were second hand. Packing was done well though. There was no site visit done and information was given regarding a walk from the street to the house. On the day I had to pay an extra A?200 before thet would unload and deliver my belongings. From an initial quote of A?600 I ended up paying A?950. Not impressed! Read more

They were 4 hours late...time updated were not accurate, I had to keep asking! The lady in their office was very rude at the end of the day saying I owed money when I had paid upfront when I booked. I had to stand there tired and upset and email her my receipt! The issue was with the site and them not me! She as not understanding and was rude. The drivers however were amazing and would not fault them. Just the rude office woman. Read more
