We moved from Scotland to East Anglia, which is an enormous undertaking, and he handled everything with professionalism and good humour. Great service from David Fraser and Robbie.They kept in touch leading up to the move, turned up on time on the day and worked like bears to get everything moved.They were very careful to avoid marking the carpets in our new-build house and diligent about caring for our rickety furniture.They even dismantled our oak double bed and our complicated electric recliner sofa and rebuilt them for us in our new home.Throughout, the guys were cheerful, polite and professional.I am very happy to recommend them. Absolutely fantastic service! David was always on the other end of the phone with any questions I had from the very first call until the day of removal. Great price too. David knew I was going through a stressful time with the move and was trying to organise it on my own. He really was so so helpful, I cant thank him enough. The move went smoothly and very quick! My dates for the removal werent confirmed and David was flexible and worked around my ever changing dates!! David is absolutely lovely & seemed to know his stuff. However removal day was a shambles. In shortHe hadn't given himself enough time to packThis led to him dropping & breaking things in his haste My husband & I were up late trying to catch up with packingBoxes were not labelledHe kept telling us we had a lot of stuff, yes you visited to see what we had!Come moving day, at midday he had to go get another van as he hadnt judged that correctly either.We left our old house nearly 4hrs late at 3.45pm Finished unpacking the van at 9.15pmStuff was just dumped in the closest room, when asked not to his staff were irritated as they wanted finished.My husband and I ended up having to move large items of furnitureWe booked a packing & removal service as Im ill and my husband broke his hand a few months ago. The amount of work we did that day left us both ill afterwards, I ended up in bed for two days.Were still finding things that have been broken in the move (incl. the glass front of a 4500 wardrobe)In short, David is lovely, but seemed a little out of his depth and made an already stressful day far worse. We had a slight mixup with the dates so David made some last minute arrangements and worked a straight 12 hour day to make it possible for our plans to not be thrown out the window. Fraser Removals exceeded my expectations in every area. My move went horribly wrong, with buyers not completing until 4.30pm. Fraser and his team were a continuous reassuring presence on a stressful day. They moved everything with great care, dismantling and rebuilding furniture and gave sage advice on how to speak with the solicitors on the day. What should have been a straightforward 4 mile move (and was quoted as such) turned into a 13 hour saga. Fraser and his whole team remained positive, cheery and good natured throughout. They kept us calm and reassured when they could easily have been a source of significant stress. At the end of the day (9.30pm) the quoted price hadnt changed despite significant extra work.
