I rang them a couple of times to verify a few things (such as time of arrival on moving day and to change the day of the move which was already discussed could happen)On moving day they arrived, well organised, worked none stop and very hard till the vans were full, They were all very nice, polite and accommodating (having a few extra boxes for me to use and re-boxed a couple of other boxes themselves.) Kindly packed up a few of my items that were still left out unboxed and put them in the van.They dismantled everything and reassembled everything at my new home, using sheets on the new carpets, very careful not to mark walls and everything was put back together great. There were no broken items and nothing missing i would recommend Great Removals to everyone.The only problem I encountered was we agreed and paid for 2 Vans to remove everything but when the 2 vans were full I had to pay a further 300 for 1 extra van to bring about 20 items across to my new home. I had already taken 90% of my plants, 3 car loads of items and made about 6 tip runs. So to pay an extra 300 stung a little but paid anyway since i believed our agreed price was relatively cheap for what they offered. Read more

Stay away from these guys. Several items were missing like high value perfumes...

Incredible service and understanding on a very difficult move. Known obstacles such as the restricted access to my original house, as well as the dismantling and reassembly of furniture was handled perfectly, however it was the unknown problem that arose during the day where the team really stood out. Due to issues with access to my new house, the team had to wait around for 4 hours after their allotted time while we waited on the seller. Brilliant service from Adam and his team. They worked tirelessly and efficiently and were extremely careful with a lot of items (several which had a lot of sentimental value!).
When one bed wouldn't fit in a room Adam offered several different solutions to avoid being stuck with it which were really helpful.
All 4 guys were very friendly, easy to talk to and I can't recommend them highly enough.

Great service from Adam and his team. We opted for the full packing service just to make life easier (we have a 3 week old baby) - the best money Ia??ve ever spent.
The team were really flexible as we were messed around by our solicitor and completion was delayed by a day. Adam took so much of the stress out and just got it sorted. The team were great, professional and efficient. I would definitely recommend. Read more

Adam and his team were really helpful with our move, we didn't have many things to move and only moved around the corner, however all the items arrived in perfect condition and you could clearly see they were treated with due care an attention.

Adam was happy to move items into specific rooms for us and even offered to do so (even when we said he didn't need too). He was friendly and made the whole experience seemless.

In the weeks before the move, Sunny came to see the property and assured us that everything would fit inside the van they had planned.

However on the day Abi, our chief packer, quickly looked at everything and said that actually all our stuff would not fit into the van as planned and originally claimed.

Therefore they had to come back in 2 days to collect the remaining things, at the extra expense to ourselves of A?600, to which we were not very pleased.

Nonetheless Abi was great, he was efficient, knew his job well and was very helpful. He understood our position, was very professional and tried his best to help with the unfortunate situation. His two helpers were not quite as experienced as Abi, so needed Abi's supervision.

In summary, all our items arrived intact at the destination and were carefully packed. However it took an extra two days longer than we had planned due to them bringing a too small van and it cost us a lot of extra money. If using these movers I would recommend you check carefully with them about the van size required during the initial survey. Read more
