Initially everything seemed quite slick. They have a good booking system.However, the whole experience was awful. Moving day was to start at 8am, when I chased them at 9am it was changed to 11am, eventually turned up after 2pm. My fridge freezer and dressing table were damaged in transit, the company were reluctant to report the claim to insurers and instead offered for 40 per item damaged.I eventually reported the claim to insurers, they have agreed settlement but this company are now ignoring any correspondence from insurers. Overall service was good. Friendly Moovers, however one of the man that came to support the movement said to another man these guys are very messy, which my partner overheard but we didnt make an issue about it on the day. Another con was that they fitted the cupboard wrong so had to call them back after they had left - but the men didnt make too much of a fuss they quickly amended it properly. Service wise - the whole movement was a great experience from the initial quote to the last day of the movement. Definitely would recommend. Read more

We were very apprehensive as it was the first time we had moved home in 33 years. But Solomon and the team were absolutely fantastic, so helpful, and understanding to our needs. They were very polite and helpful, was a bit disappointed as I was told on booking the van would be large enough for one trip, the one that arrived had to make two so I was chasing around from one properly to the other, good job I didn't not move very far.Also they damaged the stairs wall with the castors on the base of my bed. I felt really awful leaving like that. 1 of the men took a photo and reported it to his manager, but I've not heard anything yet 2 weeks on. Read more

The company as a whole were great the guys who came out to see us were great We were told that items would be protected with covers and that mats would be put down and that delicate items would be wrapped We asked for a dismantle of our wardrobes but unfortunately none of the panels were marked as to identify where they go on assemble and none of the white gloss panels were wrapped to protect them On the day the guys were great and did the job in quick time but sadly very little was wrapped and items got damaged Our Tv ended up with 2 large scratched to the frame Our very large fridge freezer ended up with scratches to the front that were in addition to some damage that had already happened to it (my hubs did it) Although I covered our mattresses with plastic bags that I had bought the rest of our beds and headboard were not protected Our pale grey sofa had a very large dirty patch on it where it had been handled In our new house wed cleaned the carpets prior to the move but sadly only a couple of blankets were put down which were very soon kicked aside - there were no long protest give mats used - I dont call flimsy blankets protective mats - Read more

Through Comparemymove.They were flexible, on time, provided a second van for storage. Slight negative is that they didn't use local storage so charged for fuel and manpower to their site,

The two fella's that moved us (Greg and Harry) I cannot praise enough. They worked like trojans but never lost sight of the impact a move date has on those moving to another house. Both of them took the time to make sure my husband and I were okay and we didn't feel at all under pressure .Kind and considerate but at the same time professional. The two lads where great couldn't help enough , but by the end of the day it was just to much for them . We didn't realize till they had gone .a number of things had been damaged walls marked in the new house which had just been decorated and kitchen flooring had been damaged which also was new Read more

I had high hopes when we booked our removal with this company. When the estimator came we told him we wanted a total removal of our house plus the packing service from Nottinghamshire to Northumberland. We were told this would take place over 3 daysWe received a quote which we thought was very reasonable for 2 men and 1 vehicle. Things started to go wrong the day before, the operations manager never turned up and when I got him on the phone we were told the move would take place over 2 days. Two small vans arrived and 2 men they were packing all the first day and we left at teatime to travel to Northumberland. It took them all the next day to pack and they phoned to say they had left some things behind but as we were travelling back in our motorhome to fetch our two cats we said that was ok . They arrived late that night and we helped them unload. We went back and found we needed to make 2 trips at a cost to ourselves of 130 diesel. The company have just kept quoting they fulfilled their quote of 2 men and 1 vehicle. They did offer me a gesture of goodwill payment of 40 but I asked for the 130. They have now stopped responding to me. Read more

On moving day Stefan & Josh took care of everything and took real care in some of the valuable items that I was worried about moving. Prior to moving, we'd had a visit from Paul to assess the size of the move. On the day, 2 guys arrived just after 8am (Mark & Alex) with 2 large vans. They worked really hard, none stop pretty much, all morning and into the afternoon to get loaded. The whole house went in the first van plus a few garage bits, and the rest went in the second, minus a few bits in some cars. Once at the new house, they continued to work none stop until after 7pm to complete the move. Apparently they should have sent 3 guys which would of got it done quicker, but Mark & Alex made sure it got done anyway. Top job, no breakages (bar the glass in a cheap picture frame) & everything they could, was put in the correct rooms at the new house. The 3 removals guys we had were absolutely fantastic! Due to several problems they ended up putting in a 12 hour day and grafted the whole time. The one thing I will say though... is to make sure any extras you arrange with the company, you have in writing. We arranged dismantling and reassembly and it was not on our work order. However the guys did it anyway and were most apologetic. Totally not their fault and they handled it brilliantly. I would use the company again. Read more
