Review:Left half of my belongings as I was told it was too heavy. Before it was booked I was never told of the weight limit. Demanded money before they even finished unloading. I've moved twice in the Torquay area and weight was never a issue with previous companies.

We are really sorry to see you’re not happy.When you initially contacted us we were tasked to move ‘17 furniture items and 15 bags & boxes’.When the crew arrived it was quickly discovered to be almost 3 times this amount.You were then offered 2 options, the first was a second van at a reduce rate. The second option we would store the goods and deliver at a later date. You declined both due to your dad having a van.We have been more than fair and haven’t invoiced for additional services and workYou failed to notify us of the new property being a flat not on the ground floor;Our crew were delayed at your new property for 90 minutes due to you/a representative not being present;The van couldn’t access the new property;The crew also took a full van load. More than the initial 17 & 15 items.I have tried my hardest to contact you today but you have deliberately ignored and blocked all contact.As I’ve expressed to you there are a number of unprofessional firms who will overload a van and this is a practice we won’t undertake due to the dangers to other road users and your belongings.I hope to hear from you soon so we can resolve this.Exeter

Review:Intact Move were helpful and honest with their quote. We were initially quoted for three vans however the team did a fantastic job of getting our belongings into just two vans. The only downside of this being that the 'cramming' meant that several pieces of our furniture got marked or scratched. Having said that, the team were upbeat and positive throughout the move and I would still recommend them. Chris was excellent at arranging the long-distance move and was easy to contact even out of hours. Thank you Intact Move!
