I used this company on two occasions. First to pack and move my possessions from my home into storage. 6 months later, I moved the items from storage into my new home. After my move, I had to travel for a month due to a family emergency. When I arrived back in London, I started unpacking. I was dismayed to find that a valuable mirror had been so badly packed that the gilded wood mouldings on the top of the mirror were completely broken. There were numerous other breakages, two ceramic vases, wine glasses.The most devastating loss I have just discovered is that 2 expensive winter coats have disappeared. This is devastating, as I put my trust in this company.Unfortunately, I could not claim on the broken mirror, nor the coats, as I was away for the first 30 days after the move.Avoid this company, their prices are reasonable, but it's not worth the loss incurred. They were very flexible and committed, punctual, did a great job, and were helpful beyond expectations.

I would have liked to have recommended this removal company but unfortunately moving day didnt go to plan. They ask for payment up front however they then couldnt assemble part of our furniture as they had lost the screws! They offered compensation but this was not enough to cover the cost of having to get someone in to do this ourselves. If you are thinking of using them (and in all other respects they were great) I would suggest only using them on the agreement that you pay the final balance only after the furniture has all been assembled. Our experience with Mooving On was fine. Whilst they were not the cheapest, they had such positive reviews that we chose them. I would say they didn't quite live up to the reviews. However, they turned up on time, nothing was broken or damaged and they worked efficiently. We were disappointed in the packing - anything not fragile was just dumped into large boxes - including contents of drawers full of small objects - and scarcely labeled. It made it a lot more work to unpack. Had I know I would have packed more myself. Furniture & fragile items were packed appropriately. Team on the day was ok. I was surprised that they didn't put down rugs/plastic to protect floors. When I queried it I was rather aggressively told it cost extra (not mentioned and not on the website/terms). I said I'd pay but the plastic never turned up. There was also a piece of furniture I had originally thought we wouldn't move but changed our mind, & was told that would be an extra cost as it wasn't on the inventory, even though there was room in the truck. Fine-but I hadn't realised they would be SO exact on the inventory - so be aware. Would be fine for moving, wouldn't recommend packing service. Read more

Amazing. They arrived the day before to pack and disassemble which was super fast and efficient. On the day all items were loaded onto the van in record time despite it pouring down with rain. They were incredibly prompt and efficient. However unfortunately an expensive watch want missing during packing (which wasn't covered by their insurance as we shouldn't have submitted it for packing and moving....we didn't ..it went missing from the stuff that shouldn't have been packed) Other items were damaged which we discovered after a week of unpacking. While packing was extremely quick once the boxes were opened it was clear that very little care was taken during packing which has been incredibly sad. The experience was great up until unpacking started and it became obvious that things were not as great as expected. In addition furniture was not reassembled fully, a lot of our nursery furniture was wobbly and had to be reassembled by us in order to ensure it was safe. Read more

Very happy with the teams work, moving us a long way from London 40 miles out to Tunbridge Wells, with the contents of a 5-bed house. They were very good in fact. It was a fairly straightforward job as it involved moving stuff already packed in storage to my house. this they did efficiently and well. Initial arrival time was a bit delayed due to standard cross london traffic but they called to let me know. They were flexible as the stuff needed 2 trips as it all didnt fit and they did this without complaining or requesting extra funds which was reassuringly pleasant. They were very efficient and very quick when packing. However this was to the detriment of the packing process. Things were just thrown into the boxes, labelling wasnt correct and so when it came to unloading things were just dumped in the first room they found. They complained all day about the amount of stuff we had but that was their job. I was made to feel I had to help so ended up backing several boxes myself! Stephan and his team were wonderful! Arrived and got to work immediately, taking great care with our things, wrapping furniture and art to keep it from getting scratched or damaged, and working fast. They had our entire 3BR house loaded in under 2 hours. We met them at the new house after a lunch break and they unloaded in 2 hours as well. Followed direction and put each item into the correct room and even helped us move a bit of furniture around the house that was left by the previous owners since we couldnt move it ourselves. Seamless, easy, good communication, hard working group. We moved a 5 bed house over two days. This was as easy of a move as I could have asked for. I appreciated they did their work with the quote and gave me an honest assessment of the project cost. they were the third least expensive option. However, they had more people allocated and they had two vans. If they had come with fewer, which was the case with the other vendors, we would have not finished on time and I would have paid overages. Read more

They are value for money but made some mistakes abs out of fear try to hide them. This is not acceptable as they need to take responsibility for their work.
