We had an ok moving experience, but nothing to write home about. We received a reasonable quote, bearing in mind we were moving with many boxes, some light furniture and a few plants. Unfortunately we forgot to account for a mattress when doing the video survey, and we were charged additionally for it on moving day, which soured the experience somewhat because we understood that the total price is calculated based on a volume estimate, and, whilst they didn't care about how many boxes we had, they seemed to need to charge extra for this one additional item which doesn't add much to the total volume. The three porters worked diligently, but didn't have very good manners and didn't make our experience particularly pleasant. One of them took the freedom to use our loo without asking, and another demanded we paid them 100 in cash for the unaccounted for mattress, which after speaking to the office over the phone ended up in an extra charge of 30 instead! The office staff seemed reasonable but communication was patchy and we had to follow up several times. I think we'll try a different company next time, and will be happy to pay a bit more for a better customer experience. Read more

Very pleased with my recent house move from South to North London!Alex and Andrew turned up on time on Easter weekend and sorted all the carrying and moving for me for a 2 bed flat in 5 hours.Now that I have unpacked I can confirm everything made it safely and nothing was damaged!Only slight mishap was that one thing that belonged to my flatmate also made its journey to the new property, so I had to return it back to my old place. However, it was very lightweight so could be carried easily back on the tube :) Read more

Our move was from Hampton to a village near Lincoln, about 170 miles and on the day we realised that we had really underestimated the amount of packing needed. When the team from Mooving on London arrived they saw the state that we were in and offered to pack for us (at a reasonable extra cost) from there on we were able to relax, (relatively). Then, just before leaving one of our cats went walkabout so we ended up arriving at the new house about 1.5 hours after the vans. The crew had waited patiently and once we were there they unloaded everything quickly and neatly.. They made everything go smoothly and without drama with a friendly and helpful manner. Read more
