Professional, efficient, understanding, and friendly. This was our first time using movers and we were very impressed. Sean, Aaron, and Matthew (apologies if we've misspelled any names!) were unfailingly polite and professional, understanding about our requests, and got everything done in terrific time despite having to move things from our old home which had quite a few access difficulties. Hayley also deserves a shout out as she handled all of my daft/anxious questions in good detail and humour and again was lovely and understanding. We've already decided to use this company again should we move in the future and we recommend them wholeheartedly.

The removal went smoothly, the movers arrived on time both at pickup and when delivering my belongings. The movers were happy to listen to which items were fragile and to pack them into the van in a way that they didn't get damaged. They also listened about where to put each box at the new property. In the end none of my belongings were broken during the move. The price was quite expensive for my liking, but likely worth paying if you have important fragile items you'd like to move. The company seem very strict on only taking items they have previously agreed to, so if you want to move your things with the company I recommend declaring all your boxes etc. in advance so you won't be charged extra. Note that their insurance does not cover any items which you have packed yourself, although this seems to be standard in the UK with most removal companies.
We were impressed by the guys' tireless work. It was a very long day for them (8am-10pm) and they were cheerful and professional. We were concerned they had to work such long hours but they said they didn't mind! We also had an issue when our piano wouldn't fit in the new flat because of the staircase. We were disappointed not to have it inside but didn't want anyone to hurt themselves trying. What was disappointing was that the company couldn't take it somewhere warm and dry overnight while we resolved the issue but left it out in the cold and it snowed the next morning. When we tried to talk to someone in the office they wouldn't talk to us, saying complaints could only be made in writing. I was hoping to resolve it, not complain. They did refund us £50 for this. Everything else got moved without a hitch.
The day of the move went really well removal guys brill however my dfs leather sofa got torn which is only 10month old and to date I've had no confirmation of what they are going to do . Moved 2 weeks ago. Poor response when the move went so well.
Over promise, don’t deliver. On the day. My husband was still sat on our old houses drive with the contents of the garden and garage at 5:30pm. Our sale completed at 10;30am and we were moving 3 miles away.
I would be extremely careful about handing money over to this company in advance of them completing any work following my experience at my recent house move.
Despite an early site visit to assess the amount of stuff needed to move, O’Connors arrived on the moving day with 2 guys and a box van to move a 3 bedroom house to an equal size property.
Unsurprisingly, it became apparent early that the van would not be big enough and by mid-afternoon on the day I was told the van was full and no further items could be loaded leaving several items behind. This is despite me taking several loads in my own car which I hadn’t planned for, and also arranging late on the moving day for my mountain bikes to be transported separately which were also expected to fit in the van.
I have called and emailed the company since, all of which have been ignored by O’Connors, no recompense has been offered and there was no attempt or offer to retrieve the remaining items which I have now had to hire transport to move myself.
As I dont have much space to write the full picture here..please avoid!I was sent two boys to remove my belongings with no equipment to remove larger items and the van had not been cleaned since the last removal It took me 7 hours to move only half of my belongings, the rest were left at my old property and I was left having to source another company to move my belongings the next day (I'm lucky as it was bank holiday weekend) I was blamed by O'conners for the move taking so long because I chose to move in the afternoon rather than the morning.
