I could not fault Optimistix on their service on our recent move to Edinburgh. They provided a full packing service, storage and delivery to Edinburgh. The team worked very quickly packing and unpacking, delivered on time in Edinburgh and all of our goods arrived in perfect condition. Very helpful throughout the whole process, great customer service. They came to the house beforehand to do a survey and gave us a fixed quote (no charge). They offered 10 boxes, delivered for free. A bit expensive, but worth the investment if you don't want any surprises on the day and careful movers. Read more

Really good, the two guys who moved and delivered my things were great and very nice and chatty. received phone calls from them to update me, i would recommend.

Not having moved in 12 years since living in London it was a daunting task having to pack up and move our 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom flat in a short space of time. From the moment Maria picked up the phone I felt comfortable and reassured that I had come to the right removal company. A representative came around a day later and gave us a fixed quote so I knew exactly what it was going to cost. These guys are brilliant. Right from the lady who deals with bookings on the phone (Maria) through to the onsite survey/free quote and then the team doing the packing/move itself. We had a nightmare situation where our buyer messed us around on the day of the move and it all had to be pushed back by 5 days but Optimistix went out of their way to help us and make everything work. Removal men running late, then I felt rushed...they weren't the happiest crew, but arrived in one piece,with no breakages!

At the last stage of moving, I think they could go around and do a final check. Later I went back to the flat and found couple of boxes not loaded.

At first I thought that the price was a little more than I would have expected, but when I saw just how hard the team worked on the day doing our TWO moves (moving in to two separate homes), I could not have been more impressed. One mistake was made with a wardrobe taken to the wrong address, but this was rectified very quickly. I only had two tiny breakages (two mugs) so all in all everything was superb. The back office staff was absolutely amazing and I was very happy with the service. I would absolutely use Optimistix Movers again, and can warmly recommend them. Read more

Absolutely brilliant service. Maria in the office was great from start to finish, our move date changed several times very close to Christmas which they were able to accommodate. Even when we needed an extra van (due to my mistake and not listing everything on inventory) this was sorted quickly and the move went incredibly smoothly.
