    OTEX do not deserve any stars at all. The most unprofessional removal company we have ever had the displeasure of doing business with. The move was an absolute nightmare from beginning to end with an incompetent team of men, a senior team who were non existent when we called for help and total disrespect for us and our belongings. The leader was argumentative with us and his team, had no idea how to direct the team to bring furniture upstairs or protect the furniture or the walls. He actually refused to bring a piece of furniture to the first floor stating that if he does, we will be responsible for any damage. On more than one occasion I had to ask the leader to stop being condescending. There were only 5 men, but the contract confirmed 7. On the second day, there were only 3 men, again instead of 7. The second team said good bye and said they finished the move and then we found a whole room full of hanging boxes with clothes, bags and heavy BBQ items outside and a bicycle shed, which we had to move ourselves. We complained and asked for our money back. they allowed themselves over 10 working days to respond and dragged things on and ultimately didn't accept any of our complaints. We regret using OTEX massively.

    Don't use them. They hide things in small print and it all comes out on moving day which makes it even more stressful. At the time of booking you think i will do all that but you just dont. Then the extra costs come into play and it's not a small amount. I paid a extra A?300 because I went over the 1 hour wait time to get key. To pick up key is out of your hands and they know it so they take money of everyone.

    We have smoothly moved a fairly large volume of contents from one property to the other. At the destination property, the crew had waited 2.5 - 3 hours (not 1 hr). Waiting cannot continue indefinitely, hence as an industry standard procedure waiting charge is applied. However, we had shown generosity by applying reduced waiting charge. Noting is hidden in small prints, T&Cs are supplied with quote, booking and by hand on the move day.The delay was not from our end, the delay was from the client's solicitors side to complete the purchase. The cost should be claimed from the party who caused the delay e.g. solicitors etc. not by the us who worked long day and ensured the client could move in peacefully.Despite the delay, the furniture was fully reassembled and placed to the client's satisfaction.

    Chap that came to estimate seemed very professional and trustworthy. Crew was friendly. Overall experience was a complete disaster. Crew was late,then rushed things, also poor communication, didn't protect furniture, boxes clearly marked as fragile and this way up were put upside down,garment boxes put on side, I don't know why, but they couldn't fit everything onto van, so we had to hire a van to collect left behind items 2 weeks later. No apology, I called the office to complain,was told to e-mail complaint, as they take complaints very serious. I did do this, 11 days later, still no reply. We spent A?149 for van hire and A?105 on Diesel. I would NOT recommend this company. To be honest, I wouldn't even rate them a 1 star

    We are a very professional removals service provider, and have very experienced surveyors and friendly & experienced moving crew.The feedback we were given on the job completion sheet on all factors were marked as good. The job completion sheet is available upon request. The inventory list shows that some items e.g. timber not be removed, however, on the day these were submitted to be removed. We had provided the resources e.g. manpower, vehicle size as promised and on the day where there is a variation in the inventory, we accept these as long as they fit in the vehicle legally within the weight and volume limits. Obviously on this occasion the variation in the list would not fit in the given vehicle size and the crew could not load these within the legal weight limits.We have genuinely delivered a very smooth service as promised and moved 1400 cubic feet volume over 179 miles distance. We hope the client will reflect and re-consider the perceived quality of service.

    There were an hour late and put the wrong floor on the removal details so the driver spent a long time on the phone complaining to the office which meant it took a long time to move and we were in rush hour traffic then. Also they got my sofa really dirty in the van so I have to have it dry cleaned. Luckily the covers come off.

    The job information was booked over the phone by the client. Although we offer free of charge site visit to get the assessment done by our experienced surveyors. Due to the information via phone there are variations in the information we have received.However, our crew are experienced enough to handle the day and make it a successful move. Had a survey been done, precise information is gathered to record requirements including protection materials.However, in the end, we're confident that the overall satisfaction of the client is satisfactory and we expect to serve the customer again if our service requirements are needed again in future.
