Fantastic service from beginning to end. Liam who I spoke to about the quote was excellent at communicating with me, always responded SUPER fast and checked in throughout. The the move itself could not have gone smoother, the guys were really nice and put me at ease, they checked in with me on how things should be and made sure everything went into the right place at the other end. I've never had such a good experience with movers, truly 5* experience. Shout out to James, George and Mike for a stellar removals experience! Despite having a video assessment, the removal van sent on the day wasnt big enough. The 2 removal men said I had to call head office to discuss and I was told another van wouldnt be ready until 3/4pm! In the end they agreed to unload half of the van at the new property and the come and get the rest only they wouldnt come back for the rest it was classed as a second job! Shambles Read more

Communication was great in terms of booking etc however communication broke down on moving day. The removal lorry and x2 removal men arrived on time around 8am however not long after arrival realised their lorry was not large enough for all our furniture etc.The removal men were rude and slow with little update/communication around whether another van would arrive or if they would do two trips. We had to sort with Liam at the office who despite the removal men being rude was helpful and tried to arrange another lorry for us. We did have to chase for updates/call backs. After the original van had done their 8 hours they left leaving our sofa and dining table along with garden furniture at the old property.Luckily another lorry and men arrived after Liam sorting. The second set of x3 removal men were polite, helpful and fast. The First Gentlemen let the business down and based on them I would not use the service again. Moving day turned into a disaster. The movers had the wrong inventory list, resulting in them refusing to move half of my items. After a lengthy dispute, I ended up loading the remaining items onto the van myself. Sadly, some of my plants were damaged during the move, and we were left exhausted. I reported the issue to their office during and after the move, but to date, there has been no response. This has been my worst moving experience, especially on such a busy day. I would strongly advise others to avoid this company to prevent similar troubles. Read more

Stay clear of this company sadly they were a fourth choice. Charged an extra 432 including vat on the day of move for walking to the property even though they had the address and could have based the initial quote on location supplied at time of quote, stated they would not finish the job until I paid the extra. Broke a glass chest of drawers and are refusing to pay for replacement and have stated they will pay for the glass not damaged wood panel under the glass or workmanship to repair. Stated I did not activate the claim even after they stated by responding to an email this will activate any insurance claim. Liam was excellent as was the physical removal service. However on the day the main removal person messed us around It was clear the trucks sent were not big enough and the main van driver was being funny about picking up some the items that did not fit. This was the easiest and fastest move in my life. Saulius, Dima, Paul, Christi and Liam were absolute stars!

I am extremely concerned and worried about the company process and customer care.The movers were nice and did a fair job. However, one of our valuables (the ONLY one that I asked them to protect and seal) got damaged in the process and we ended up in a "he said/she said" situation, which should have never been the case. We, as customers, felt completely unprotected and undefended. We still have a very hard time understanding why the company couldn't file a claim, and the process was absolutely not transparent. I still do not know whether the person I was in contact with had an actual conversation with their manager or any necessary stakeholder, as I wasn't involved in any emails or threads. The whole process took more than a month to reach an unfair conclusion and, to be fair, we feel this was just a strategy. In case a box got lost, would the company help their customer, or would they say the box was never there (like now with the scratches on our tv)? They did not take any inventory upon collecting the items, nor taking pictures of the status of the assets.Absolutely one of the worst experiences of our life. Read more

Not happy with the service. Ordered a 16 ton lorry as we were going long distance. Ended up with 2 luton type lorries they still couldnt put all my furniture in them so it was left over night in there storage and brought next day. this was ok until we found that all my new bedding that i had brought before the move costing approximately 600.00 plus half my new dinner service was missing. When we rang up was told that as we couldnt prove that it hadnt been delivered we couldnt do anything about it and call the police.I wouldnt mind but gave these people 150.00 pound tip on top of this i has some broken ornaments that meant a lot to me as they were my late mothers.Would I recommend this company not on your life. The guys who did the moving were excellent, extremely helpful and worked hard. However I cannot say the same for the office staff. After I accepted the quote, I spoke to them several times on the phone, there was never ever any mention of additional payment for waiting time, so I was shocked when the day after moving a further 483 was just taken out of my account without any prior discussion. When I called them I was told it was in their terms and conditions. I felt I had been duped as surely this should have been in plain view on the quote, because if it had been I would never have used them, What went from being a very reasonable price to the most expensive compared to other companies! They were great - short notice - reasonable price - very helpful.

Sure Removals had lovely selling staff but shocking delivery. We went for the packing and moving service. The company got the wrong moving day so packers turned up very late and only packed 40% of our stuff. The following day they called in to few staff for the move. It was chaos with staff being drafted in late and cross. Items were just shoved into boxes from different rooms. So for example clothes and plants. The vans were too small for all our items. At the other end we had to insist they put plastic sheeting on the carpet. Mattresses were dropped in puddles, a desk was broken, lots of scratches parquet floors. Items and boxes in the wrong room.
