On arrival he introduced the team and surveyed what was required to make the move straightforward. He kept me informed throughout the process. TCS amazed me, they we able to fit me in at short notice. Gave me a decent quote but more importantly the job they did in load up my worldly possessions was immense. They packed up fast but safely, checked what was and wasn't going. Nothing was damaged and they pointed out things as they loaded so everyone was on the one page. We got a relatively last-minute completion date from our solicitors, and TCS was one of around 15 companies we contacted to see if they could make the date work. From the first contact with Conor we were reassured that they could fit it in, and that we'd be in good hands. Sarmite and Anth came out to quote up the job the next day, and we had the quote back within a couple of hours. Before moving day we had all the info we could have hoped for via email, and even a courtesty call the night before to see how we were getting on, and to ask if we had any issues or last minute questions the team could help with. On moving day itself a 3-man team arrived promptly and set to work. Nothing was too much trouble, and my offer to help was duly refused, meaning it was as stress-free as possible. When we got to the new address another crew arrived to help unload. They recently helped us move my sister in law from a 3 storey house in Jesmond - she had never moved house before and we had been dreading moving out of the family home. They came to see what needed to be moved within hours of me asking for a quote and were very professional and friendly.

Within an hour after they left I had received the quote and the value for money was simply incredible.

On the day, they showed up on time with a large team to pick up the items quickly, efficiency and without damage. They neatly loaded everything on the truck and secured the items with added blankets and covers for protection.

They kept me informed during the drive

They unloaded all the items as efficiently and carefully as they had loaded them, they took everything to the room we asked and just before they left they also gave us a quick hand with assembling our sofa frame so that we could have somewhere to sit on in the lounge while the rest of the house was full of boxes.

The team communicated with me as soon as I had requested a quote and they came out to see the house quickly. When they came to the house - they were very pleasant and friendly. They got back to me quickly with a very reasonable quote and again provided detailed, helpful information about the move. They were by far the most professional and efficient company we spoke to so we didna??t hesitate to book with them. They kept in contact between the quote and move to let us know about timings etc.

Moving day
On the day of the move, we received a call in advance to let us know they were on their way (and perfectly on time). From the second they arrived, they knew exactly what they were doing as a team. We moved from a 3 bed house, but had enough stuff to make the volume look easily more like a 4 bed. TCS were professional and extremely hard working
The price was very competetive.
They were very well organised and took great care of everything, cheerfully and politely. We had a lot of boxes stored in the loft and stuff from the shed. Nothing was a problem. Could not have asked for anything better... from beginning to end. After making the initial enquiry online, I was called back within 5 minutes. The day after, Conor and Sarmite came round and I had the quote within a few hours of that. I was moving from Birtley to Lancashire and I had a Yamaha upright piano... and the quotation given was well below what I expected. Nonetheless the service was first class. All of the packing materials were delivered as agreed well ahead of the move to allow me plenty of time to pack up. And none of the packing materials failed. A team of five in two box vans and a sprinter arrived at just after 7.00am and we were all packed up by 1030. Despite the weather, they were at the new house about 2 hours later and had everything unpacked - in the right rooms - and had the piano moved into place by around 14.30. They even plumbed in my washing machine, stacked the dryer on top of it and secured it. The day really couldn't have gone any smoother. Couldn't be happier and would definitely recommend to anyone. Communication from day 1 was excellent. Conor was always reachable, answered emails and phone calls. My moving date was not certain till the last week, that was stressing me a lot. Where do I begin???
As soon as I emailed my interest in TCS and Conor immediately replied, I was assured that this was the company for moving me.
Cost is important to me, and I was blown away with this first quote and looked no further. After emails and chats with Conor, I had every confidence that the move would be dealt with professionally.
I even changed the date of my move a couple of times and TCS were more than accommodating, squeezing me in between Christmas and New Year.
Conor and his team were outstanding in how the packed up my flat, loaded up and moved me to my new place.
They quickly and efficiently unloaded and put things exactly where I wanted them and moved them again when I changed my mind!!!!
All in all, I moved a short distance but, all was complete in 3 1/2 hours!!!!

Moving the house with 3 young children was a challenge in itself but prior preparation, flexibility and co-ordination from the team made it a lot easier.

Conor and Sarmiento were able to attend twice before the move to pack everything so that on the day it took less time to complete the loading and relocation.
