Weald Removals were professional and courteous at all times. Timings were prompt and my belongings were well looked after. There were no breakages on the day. I opted for the full packing service which left me very little to do, this allowed me to concentrate on cleaning my house which I handed over the same day. All in all a very pleasant and relatively stress free move. I would recommend Weald Removals.
We accepted the quote based on the friendliness, professionalism and flexibility Wendy and Luke showed.
On moving day however we were rather disappointed that only one mover arrived on time and that he basically had to do all the work to load the van, this included carrying my sofa, king size bed and all my drawers and tables all on his own. His name was Darren I believe. Darren was extremely friendly, helpful and polite. Darren didn't complain once about having to do all the work and he did it all to the best of his ability in a professional manner, while doing his best to reassure me that he can get the job done and yes, he did get the job done.
I feel that not having the other mover there though was extremely unfair on Darren and myself. For Darren it meant trying to ensure I was happy with the move and the situation and for me it meant that the move would take longer and I felt obliged as a person to help Darren with a few things.
I would happily recommend Weald again, provided Darren is the lead mover on the day.
Please ensure Darren is made aware of this and that his hard work was appreciated.
Professional, reliable service but incredibly expensive for what was involved and especially given the job was combined with another one
The men that moved us were very friendly and helpful. However we were a bit disappointed that despite having had a surveyor visiting prior to quoting and the fact that decided not to take a washing machine and book case the removers still could not fit everything in on the day so we will gave to hire a van at our expense and inconvenience (we have moved some 200 miles) to move some items.

There was a large portion of your move coming from a storage facility that was not assessed by the surveyor and was agreed verbally. 2. You made no contact with the office or myself to notify me of any issues you may have been experiencing thus not giving me the opportunity to rectify, Should you have made contact on move day i would have been more than happy to help. They didn’t arrive until 11.10, their van broke down, and we finally left the house just before 4. I incurred overrun charges which they absolutely refused to pay. I could go on...
