I was really worried choosing Muve over other solicitors because of how much cheaper they were, I also worried the service would suffer because of this. I was completely wrong and Im so glad I gave them a chance! They had check in calls with me every week, replied to every email of mine within a maximum of a few hours and they were very quick to process everything, I would definitely use again and will be recommending to family and friends.
We chose Muve because we were buying a leasehold and they have experience in this area. The service from Muve was excellent. The dashboard to track progress was very useful. Afdel, my main contact, was regularly in touch and made the whole process stress free .

Avoid at all costsThe pits of a company. I'd take all of the glittering 5 star reviews with a pinch of salt, a large pinch.....Account manager Anupa was not on the ball. He never provided updates. Never returned calls. Anupa was rude on several phone calls. Lodged a complaint about the service I recieved. Broken promise after broken promise about replying in a set time frame. Eventfully recieved a gesture of goodwill of 250. If you are currently using Muve and recieving the substandard service, that runs through the company, please make sure you raise the issues. Online portal was marketed heavily, absolute waste of time. It was never updated. Conveyancer was changed half way throught to Sasini, who was a credit to the company. If the whole expierence was like from Sasini, then it would be a 5 star review. Had to find the CEO email address on line and contact directly. We eventfully completed it, anthey sent me a different amount to the co-statement. issues in my purchase. There is poor service running through the company, from top to bottom. WOW Our 3rd house so weve used a couple of other solicitors before and were expecting the worst. Muve were the cheapest quote and after reading through reviews of various other firms we decided to instruct Muve even though our estate agent strongly recommended that we didnt. It wasnt all a smooth ride but our conveyancer Chanuk Rajakaruna made sure it was as quick and smooth as he possibly could and I honestly couldnt recommend him more. Our sale was completed in 7 weeks. Our original purchase fell through as we were unknowingly gazumped just before exchange. Our subsequent purchase was completed in just 3 weeks from viewing the property (mortgage, searches and all). We never had an issue getting hold of Chanuk, getting a response from him or knowing where we were in the process, he kept us up to date at all times and was always honest and reliable. If he said he was sending something over, it would be in my inbox within the hour. He has been absolutely incredible and made the whole moving process much less stressful. Would give more stars if I could, an absolute credit to Muve and would definitely use Chanuk again.
Everything was as promised when I initially looked into what Muve could offer. I recognised that it would be a very hassle free way of selling my house and that I would be able to track the progress of my sale. This part was my favourite as I could see immediately where the milestones were regarding the sale. I found Sharoni and Genie to be very helpful and knowledgeable. I would certainly use Muve again.

Amila and Kaliq from Muve were excellent and it was a pleasure working with them.Firstly, it was really easy to connect with them, they were always available on the phone to clarify any issues or any questions.The portal was really easy to use and had all the information easily accessible. I found it was a lot easier to communicate on the portal than emails.Amila & Kaliq were really good on the communications side. I recently sold my house and purchased a new property using Move, very good value for money, assigned 2 separate teams, very easily contactable even though its an online service. `a bit confusing at first as two separate accounts and two different account managers but once Senuri the solicitor came on board everything went really smoothly and she was excellent in keeping me updated about every aspect of both the sale and the purchase , the 5 star rating is for Senuri, the other account managers Presanthi and Ruksharn where also very good, but Senuri was the person who really helped to make the whole stressful experience of moving so much better with her professionalism and kind consideration. I would highly recommend MUVE

I found Tracy and Navindi incredibly helpful as they answered my many questions and queries I had throughout the process. I found them to be knowledgeable and thorough in their work which was very reassuring. There were no unexpected extra charges added and I managed to complete well within 3 months. I would definitely recommend.
I have used MUVE twice to both buy and sell my house. The first time during COVID. Ive recently sold the house and completed in less than 8 weeks from first instruction. Sanduni and Genie did a great job dealing with a very domineering buyers solicitor.I have today instructed them for the 3rd time to buy my new house. They provide very good value and service
The most disgusting service I have ever received in my life. Totally ignored for weeks on end total of 3 different Conveyancers used with hardly any good English language between any of them. I've not scored the 1st bit as wasn't a minus score.How did it take over 5 months to buy an empty flat for cash with no searches surveys or anything absolute joke avoid like the plague....
It has been great working with them, they really care about customer service and feedback for improving. In my case they were really supportive even with a turn from seller side to finish the process early. Thank you!

Extremely stressful and aggravating. Dealing with MUVE was such a horrible experience that I would not recommend them to even my worst enemy.They have such awful client relationships skills that I was baffled they are a legit company. Emails and messages are purposefully ignored for days and sometimes even weeks without a single explanation as to why. Even the complaints department is awful with almost zero response rate.. You have to physically ring them for any chance of a half hearted response.I could go on over the frustrations caused over the many delays and stresses caused in the 5 months it took them to "complete" my case that I would have rather paid the extra money and got someone much better. Please, please save yourself the hassle and pick someone else.

Muve Conveyancing were very good with a quick move and we received full updates weekly or more when things were happening. Amila Gunasekara looked after our case with support from Charinie Perera, they were both very polite and kept us well informed. As we are first time buyers we were nervous about the process but these two explained everything step by step for us. Great service.
Our account manager Imasha got us off to a great start to the process. The sale then became difficult at times due to the dithering of the other side but our conveyancer, Sasinni was professional and knew when to push and when to hold back. She got us over the line! We were delighted we chose Move but would make one negative observation. Communication by phone to reach the team proved difficult at times with long waiting times to make contact, though someone always returned the call.
We have had a great experience with Muve and in particular, having our account manager Afdel and solicitor Nathalie on our side. Starting with an online-based conveyancer was a bit hesitant at the beginning, but later the confidence in them grew very quickly by effective and clear communication. The Hoowla portal is a great helper to see the track of the process. Communication with Afdel and Nathalie was a big pleasure comparing to our few-years-ago experience working with a small local conveyancing company. In needs to be noted that Nathalie was on our side when our chain started to build a pressure on us. To sum up, I would strongly recommend to take Muve on board.
Just terrible, clearly based in India but this wasnt clear to begin with. Ive no issue with activities being offshored however when it has a knock on impact on service then thats a non starter. Unable to contact the account manager and surveyor. I spoke to them twice throughout the entire process. Lack of knowledge of the UK system and also lacking detail as a lot of the info and documentation i had already loaded only to be asked again if not three times for the same information.

Horrible experience, lots of mistakes from the account handlers and very difficult to reach on the phone or over emails. Ive received a lot of complains from the seller and the sale almost didnt go through because of their lack of responsiveness. Outsourcing to team in Sri Lanka is not working.
Using Muve conveyancing is the most amazing experience Ive had with conveyancing and I will recommend to anyone.

I would give zero stars if I could. I had to go with a solicitor as Muve still did not grasp what I needed them to do 6 weeks into the process and I struggled to get the 700 deposit back despite them not doing any checks. They are based in a call centre in Sri Lanka and you will never be able to speak to a conveyancer. They still owe me money. Avoid like the plague! Had I stayed with Muve and not changed my entire house purchase would have fallen through and I would have lost the house!
My experience with Muve started off great but communication tailed off towards the end of the process and it was difficult to get answers to my questions. I didnt end up collecting the keys to my new house until 4:30pm on the day of completion and wasnt contacted by anyone on the day until around 2pm which was quite stressful. Also be mindful their searches are not comprehensive so you may end up paying extra. Ultimately they got me over the line but it was a very simple transaction with no chain on either side so Im not sure how they would fair in more complex situations

The experience we had with Muve was terrible. They did not communicate with us throughout the entire process, we always had to chase them for information. Their lack of speed made things even more stressful for both parties. They would often ignored our calls or we would be sat on hold. The other sides estate agent made a complaint to them and when we made a complaint we did not get a response. Even on the day of exchange and completion both party had to chase them as they did not make the payment to the sellers solicitor on time. I do not recommended Muve.
Absolutely useless! Very little communication, even when messages sent marked as urgent. No answer on phone most of the time and even hung up on me once. Changed solicitor and conveyancor 4 times during our sale!!! Would not recommend ever!

The quote process took a little time, but staff were helpful. The case handler needed a lot of chivvying which was frustrating at times, the conveyancer for both the sale and purchase were thorough and helpful. Our buyers were causing all sorts of trouble and our purchase conveyancer pitched in to help us get to completion supporting the sales conveyancer, she was brilliant.We would consider using Muve again

The time from receiving memo of sale to completion was just over 2 months which was fantastic! Loved using the portal to track progress and understand where the process is currently at. Our conveyancer Kerry Shanley was amazing and worked well with us and kept us informed of updates. Overall, would recommend.
Wonderful. Price was right. Team was lovely. Avishka and Thanukshi were fab. Communication was good. Portal works well. All good. Only thing to watch that all things are quoted at the onset. There are some add ons, like BTL, that have an additional fee. Still very competitive price though and would happily use again and reco to others.
Awful. Took so long because the conveyancers are either overworked or lazy. The actual office (not sales) is in Sri Lanka so expect timezone issues and a lack of personal knowledge.Honestly wish wed paid more and gone with a local company.Never again.We are awaiting a response to our complaint still (its been a month).
Not all conveyancers and solicitors areNot all conveyancers and solicitors are made the same. A huge thanks to Prasanthi, Deumi and Sumudu for shepherding this sale through. It wasnt an easy one. Poor communication, sellers that did everything to delay the process and backtrack on the original agreement and a Real Estate agent that really wasnt very good. At all times Muve, Prasanthi, Deumi and Sumudu acted with absolute professionalism and patience. They provided clear and transparent communication and dealt with every roadblock quickly and efficiently as they occurred. I cant recommend them enough.Date of experience: September 07, 2023
Very frustrating. While the case handlers were very polite, that was really the only positive. Unnecessary cost was incurred and not justified. Calls, emails and messages on the online portal went unanswered multiple times at vital points of the transaction. When calls were answered the team felt inexperienced and couldnt answer queries. I was advised multiple times that someone would call me back by a certain time which didnt materialise. The online portal was not kept up to date throughout the process. I was provided will a final account statement that was incorrect by 10,000. When I queried it specifically to ask if the amount was correct and was the full and final amount owed I was told it was correct only to receive a revised bill 3 days later. It was not a pleasant experience which makes an important process much more difficult.
If you want a company with poor communication that ignore deadlines, then go with Muve. They take weeks to respond to emails, even with prompting. We had a very doable deadline for time to complete, and informed them at the start that we needed to aim for this as it would have financial implications for us otherwise. The sellers solicitors were waiting almost a month for Emasha (Muve) to send over documentation. We are past the agreed completion date despite there being no concerns or delays (apart from poor efficiency and communication on Muves part). The complaints team are now involved in supporting us to prompt Emasha and Hasini for updates and find out where we are at and what is going on. Despite this, we are still not receiving the service we paid for. Very disappointed. I know buying a house can be a stressful process, but Muve has exacerbated this stress 10 fold and ruined our excitement of being soon to be home owners. Would not recommend.
Utterly dreadful. Slow, poor comms, terrible online portal, can't get hold of people, all outsourced to Sri Lanka. Very low competence conveyancers who don't understand the UK context. Spelling and grammatical mistakes all over their communication and even on legal documentation. Unbelievalbly stressful and frustrating to deal with. Cannot overstate how much I regret using them and I hope this review will persuade others not to make the same mistake.
Very inefficient took hours to return my calls, days to return my emails, simple sale my tenants were buying but still took 4 months. Wouldn't answer buyer's solicitors emails for days either. Still owed over 400 pounds and still won't answer my email
Was initially concerned with not using the traditional solicitor process but with mortgage rates as they are, we were trying to save as much as possible for our deposit. There was nothing to worry about, the portal was updated more efficiently than the estate agent and we were weeks ahead of the buyers ready to exchange.

Dayan & Afdel were our main point of contact and they could not do enough for us. Their responses were always fast and they always took the time to call or email and explain anything we were unsure of, or clarify things as nervous first time buyers. I cant thank them enough and had no issues with the service they provided as employees. HOWEVER, Muve as a whole company we were a little disappointed with. We were quoted 1040 and promised no hidden fees or extra costs. We were so pleased with this as we payed a 550 deposit and only had 490 left to pay at the end. Well, it felt like every time we blinked or they had to press a button they added another fee plus VAT. Ended up paying just under 3000 which was really difficult on top of the cost of moving and starting up your first home. Particularly when we selected Muve on the basis that they were the cheapest quote by far and they promised no extra fees. We ended up paying double what other companies had quoted us which was a real kick in the teeth.
Lots of communication at the start then it's just impossible to get hold of them, they don't respond to emails for days or weeks. Muve could have been completed in 12 weeks but have decide to drag it out for no reason.

Overall, incredibly slow, unresponsive and for what should have been an incredibly easy direct sale has taken nearly 3 months and counting.No one answers the phone. Muve are not proactive at all. Muve were emailing an incorrect email address thinking it was the sellers solicitor and rather than pick up the phone to the sellers solicitor, they sat on it and did nothing for over 3 weeks.I just want this whole thing over with.
They do not answer within 24h, they ask me NOT to send daily emails to ask for status, they do not care about your purchase. After 3 weeks I paid for fast track, then I was told that the fast track will not be guaranteed and it will take an additional 6 weeks when fast track is 5 weeks.
Very much a postal service and it seems as if delivery model is off shored.A distinct lack of advice, email driven and very hard to speak by phone. The process is software driven via a portal.We had issues with the process - our lawyer drew down our mortgage a month early, got the completion statement wrong repeatedly and asked for documents on multiple occasions that had already been provided. None of the errors were identified by Muve and were resolved once we intervened but never with an apology or a letter in response to our complaint.You get what you pay for ! They were very cheap.Id steer clear

They were really friendly, very helpful, super quick with their responses, and made the process of buying our first property not only stress-free, but also really fast, with everything being ready for completion within 2 months. Will definitely use again next time!
Honestly disgraceful, they are very incompetent.Dont let their friendly phone manner fool your judgement. If I had a pound for everytime I heard the case is progressing nicely Id retire today. I had a simple case, cash buyer and ready to go straight away. 7 months it took Muve to act on anything and still couldnt complete the job, Pay that little extra and find a company that will actually do the job. I have email proof of their incompetence and they even put my case on hold without me asking which of course delayed the process. I had better communication with the buyer directly than my own conveyancer.

They straightforward forward, and the online Portal put the whole step in a visual perspective. My accounts handler is the best can praise her enough. The only downside is there customer service, you spend a long time waiting for then to answer the telephone.

Muve were very good at calling us and updating us on progress. We had a big hold up which was frustrating but Muve ensured we were updated as soon as the hold up had resolved and kept us involved all the way through.

Poor. They talk a good game at the start but you'll be handed off to a conveyancer in Sri Lanka who will offer zero guidance. They will only answer any questions you ask by forwarding them to the other side's solicitors and then copying and pasting their response. They will make several errors in the paperwork that it will be on you to point out. Would not recommend unless you yourself have legal experience or know someone who can supplement their work for free then, hey, at least it's cheap. Sort of.

The quality of Muve support can be very polarising. If the transaction is a routine one that they are experienced in, we get the sense that it is an extremely effective and efficient conveyancer thanks to their automated systems and division of labour.However our transactions were not routine for Muve as they dont have experience in Purpose Built Student Accommodation (PBSA). Were we not experienced PBSA investors, this knowledge gap on the part of Muve would have cost us well over 7,500 in legally exempt Stamp Duty. It took over 2 months to resolve simple issues that had taken less than a day in our experience with other solicitors. There have been other issues with the Sales team, Finance team, Account Officers, Solicitors, Managers, among others.The sense we get is that Muve staff follow a tight script for efficiency but this leaves them with little room for imagination when facing transactions different from their experience. We have had repeated unpleasant conversations with Muve staff who one could sense were decent people but constrained by the way their system is set upWould I use them again? Possibly yes as hopefully their learning curve is past the peak

Theyre cheap. High volume of clients. Overstretched. Left them after 48h of paying the deposit. They were unresponsive to multiple emails, callback request and even messages on their own portal. They claim to be in London but their handlers and solicitors are in Sri Lanka.
Efficient and able to complete the deal within a short turnaround time.
Be aware: Dont trust their quote and word. They kept raising their fees in the middle of the process. Paid extra for a faster process and ended up wasting my time as had to choose another more transparent and trustworthy solicitor. Dont waste your time, unless you dont care about quotes and trust. Also didnt like they way they treat customers. Couldnt be more DISAPPOINTED!
