Rest assured, we only work with Conveyancing, Surveying, Removal, Storage, Man and Van and House Clearance companies who pass our verification process. Whether that’s checking for removals insurance or cross-referencing with regulatory bodies, we’re always working hard to get you matched with verified companies near you.

Professional Company Checks

All companies that join Compare My Move are legitimate trading companies. We run thorough checks to ensure every company is fully established as a reliable, trustworthy business.

For continued peace of mind, every partner is monitored on a regular basis throughout their partnership with us.

Regulations and Accreditations

Every Licensed Conveyancer and Conveyancing Solicitor must be regulated by any of the following;

Every Surveyor offering Level 2 Surveys, Level 3 Surveys and Valuation Reports must be regulated by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). Every Surveyor offering Party Wall Survey and Snagging Surveys must be regulated by RICS or the Residential Property Surveyors Association (RPSA).

All partners must have a fully working website or Facebook business page with up-to-date contact and location details, service descriptions and feedback displayed in a clear way.

Surveyors that don’t have either of these must have an up-to-date profile on the RICS website.

Our team trawl the web for third-party feedback when any company applies to join our network.

We search for genuine customer feedback and any negative feedback will be a mark against any potential member.

Code of Practice

All members must adhere to our code of practice and we expect the following from them at all times:

Removal companies must agree to a home survey when possible or get detailed requirements of the move

Continued Monitoring

Once we accept a partner into our network, we then continue to monitor them for their entire Compare My Move membership.

Anybody that uses our website to find a company will be invited to leave feedback on the company they chose. We read all feedback sent in and this helps us to ensure companies are adhering to our code of practice and operating in a professional manner.

In extreme cases, if a company is not performing to our expectations, they’ll be removed from our network with immediate effect.
