Our co-founders worked as movers and storers before creating Compare My Move, so we have first-hand experience in the industry.
Compare My Move has also been running for over 10 years now, so we know a thing or two about what both users and partners need. In fact, we’ve helped over 1 million UK movers over the years and hold an ‘excellent’ Trustpilot rating, which is a testament to our experience.
We verify all companies
The companies we work with must pass our verification process before joining so you only get matched with the best.
All removal companies must have Goods in Transit and Public Liability insurance. Our surveyors must be RICS or RPSA registered, depending on the service, and conveyancers must be SRA, CLC, LSS, LSNI or CILEx regulated. Storage and house clearance companies must have Public Liability insurance, with clearance companies needing a waste carriers licence.
We also have a review process in place to gather feedback about our partners so you can read real experiences before choosing a company.
We’re free to use
We aim to be transparent with how we make our money.
Our comparison service will always be free to use, whether you use one of our companies or not. The companies who partner with us pay a small fee to buy leads from us. We don’t charge them a commission when they get matched with you so they keep 100% profit from the job.
We collect impartial reviews
We collect real reviews from real customers so they’re impartial and unbiased. Only people who’ve used our service can leave a review, so you know you’re reading the truth.
We also don’t filter reviews so you can read through every experience to get a true feel of the company before choosing. Once people have used our form, we’ll ask them to review the company used and their experience with Compare My move.
We don’t share your data
You’ll only ever be put in touch with up to 6 professional companies to help with your move.
The companies you match with will then contact you to discuss the details of the job and provide a quote. Rest assured, your contact details will never be sent to anyone else.
