Review:The survey was carried out as planned and within a week of booking. Booking process very smooth and communication excellent. Time to get report was unfortunately not so good. Was told 3-5 working days but took 10. They did explain initially the delay but then promised the report by the end of the day Friday - it never arrived and no response to communication until it finally arrived on the Monday 10 working days later. Report however was extremely thorough and well laid out.

Review:I felt so positively about the service I received from this company, their responsiveness and value for money. However I was promised a report back within 3-5 business days and it is now 7 business days on still with no report and no response when I try to call or email. This is holding up my purchase and I have no way of escalating it as I can't speak to anyone else. If I don't receive the report in the next day or so will be pursuing this further with the bank who I paid with

Firstly, we would like to apologise that you didn’t manage to gain contact with our office. Should our lines be particularly busy a member of staff should and will always strive to return your call straight away.We can see that your report was sent on the 5th working day.The surveyor who covers your area adds a catalogue of images to reports and this can cause a slight delay but does give a more detailed and understandable report as the issues being reported can then viewed first-hand by the client, rather than simply just reported on with words. At times, this reporting style does take considerably longer to produce but I can assure you that this is for your benefit.My colleague has emailed you prior to posting our response out of courtesy and we would like to express our sincere apologies at your later experience, and we will ensure that history is not repeated.If you have any questions regarding your recent survey, please do ask.Wigan

More InformationRICS Home Survey Level 2
Formerly called the Homebuyers Survey, the Level 2 report is suitable for more modern homes in good condition.
This survey is designed to give an overview of the condition of the property and will highlight defects and ongoing maintenance issues in a traffic light rating system.
RICS Home Survey Level 3
The Level 3 report, previously referred to as a Building Survey, is the most detailed residential report. Recommended for older homes, those in poor condition or properties with extensive work competed on them, this survey will highlight age-related defects and ongoing maintenance issues.
Your report, upon request, can provide recommendations on repair and the associated cost of the repairs listed.
