RICS Home Survey Level 2
The RICS Level 2 Home Survey is a standard format survey and report that is designed for those purchasing a property that was built less than 50 years ago or that is in good condition. This type of survey was previously known as the Homebuyers Report.
The report will cover most aspects of the building and provide the buyer with information concerning the overall condition of the home. A clear and easy-to-read traffic light system will be used to help identify priority issues.
RICS Home Survey Level 3
The RICS Level 3 Home Survey, previously known as a Building Survey, is the most comprehensive and detailed inspection available. It is better suited to older properties that require special care. One of our experienced surveyors will assess the property, internally and externally, and provide a detailed opinion regarding the condition of every aspect of the home.
This survey will look at all accessible areas, including the roof, electrical, plumbing and heating installations, the grounds and boundaries. The resulting report will detail not only the condition of the property but also advice on how to address any defects.
