RICS Home Survey Level 2
The Level 2 surveys are suitable for the majority of modern homes and those built in the last 50 years. It is useful for homes in good condition and made of conventional materials and methods. The survey can provide you with an overview of the condition of the home. It will highlight any defects and potential problems, preparing you before the purchase.
RICS Home Survey Level 3
Recommended for older homes, those in poor condition or that are unusual, this is the most thorough level of survey. Your report will be highly detailed and contain images of areas discussed. Formerly called a Building Survey, it will shed light on issues in the home, allowing you to make an informed decision on the purchase.
