Our RICS property valuations will provide you with an accurate idea of the market value of a property. Your Estate Agent will give you the recommended asking price - a Chartered Surveyor should then carry out a market valuation, where they'll use comparable properties and various condition assessments, economic review and significant issues with the building to arrive at an evaluated assessment.
PA Surveyors' valuation work will be administered by an experienced RICS Registered Valuer. We will bring our broad range of property-related experience into every assessment to enhance the analysis and allow real-life data to be incorporated. This will all greatly help improve the accuracy and professionalism of our Valuation work.
RICS Home Survey Level 2
The RICS Home Survey Level 2 was previously known as the homebuyers survey. It's presented in a standard format and covers the general condition of a property. The surveyor’s main objective is to give a client his professional advice following an inspection of the accessible parts of the property. The information contained in the report should help potential buyers make a reasoned and informed judgement on whether to proceed with the purchase.
Our reports will always include clear ‘traffic light’ ratings of the condition of different parts of the building, services, garage and outbuildings, highlighting problems that require attention. They will also be extensively detailed on building defects, how to implement the works and their urgency.
RICS Home Survey Level 3
Previously known as a Full Structural Survey or Building Survey, the RICS Home Survey Level 3 is a wide-ranging inspection of a property and the most comprehensive and thorough survey type available for residential properties. The report will provide a detailed evaluation of the property’s condition and the condition of each element. It will also highlight defects, their apparent cause, the urgency of repair, maintenance options and an indication of the cost to repair.
Our surveys are tailored to your needs and will cover all aspects within the property. Our expert surveyors will also provide advice on any proposed alterations to ensure you are able to make an informed decision before continuing with the transaction. Our reports are typically 50-60 pages long and include various referenced photographs.
