A comprehensive, 63 page, report although the majority was 'cut and paste' relative to any survey. For example, 'overhaul and repair staircase', my property is a downstairs flat, there are no stairs.

Very helpful and great value for money. Survey date was booked within a week of request. Did have to wait a while and chase the report but they responded promptly, which was good. Would definitely recommend.

Initially customer service was excellent, a reason for choosing them. It went downhill from there. Survey booked but after that numerous phone calls to actually receive the report, no one is ever available, no one ever returns calls . Once received the standard of report was good. Communication is poor.

Customer service was absolutely excellent by admin staff from start to finish - happy to chase up the survey for us promptly as we had still not received this 13 days after it was completed. Unfortunately, despite multiple chasers, the survey itself took far too long to come back to us, with empty promises made of a date to receive this back. On speaking with the homeowner, we have also been made aware that the surveyor did not do any kind of inspection of the loft space - but rather poked an iPad through the hatch to take photos before covering themselves in the survey report by stating that there was potential for damp timbers. Nothing decisive given in the report whatsoever, just a whole lot of ifs buts and maybes - likely due to a less than comprehensive and rushed inspection of the property. Its a real shame that the wonderful and immensely helpful office staff are let down by such a pattern of laziness and disorganisation - as a result I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere for a survey provider.

This has been the most extensive survey I have had on a property and was the cheapest out of the six companies I got quotes for. The surveyor called to let me know how far he was away, he was friendly polite and explained what he was doing. I had the report within a week and it's by far the most detailed. Would recommend and use again.

Brilliant from start to finish. The initial call was very informative. I was rest assured about the service and this was the cheapest quote i received so I was nervous but I wanted to write this review to make everyone comfortable. The surveyor kept me up to date and the admin lady was great also. Surveyor seen the property a day after instructing them and I got my report back within 3 days. The report was really detailed (about 70 pages) and gave me the ultimate peace of mind about what I was purchasing. Thank you very much and hope this helps anyone who is on the edge like I was initially. I will 100% recommend this company from my personal experience. I will also recommend to family and friends.

The report is quietly detail for most elements of the property and easily read. It not only find out the problem but will provide professional suggestion for you to do next.

Very keen sales process and competitive price. Communication from Spartan has been poor since our payment was received. We are still awaiting the results of the survey that was conducted 15 days ago now with the promise of receiving this last week. Slow service that is now slowing the progress of our sale and purchase. Very disappointing so far, would not recommend.

It took 16 days to receive my survey by electronic means. If you want a paper copy then don't use this company as they don't send out paper copies!

Appalling service.Getting the survey took 3 times as long as stated. During the waiting time I contacted them several times for an update and was completely ignored. After totally giving up hope that I would ever get the survey, or my money back, I received the survey. It is ridiculous. The issues stated are so superficial and banal that the whole survey is utterly useless. I seriously do not recommend this company to anyone at all.

They did a thorough report of the property. We got it a couple of days late due to technical issues on their behalf. They mainly communicate through email, which didn't bother me.

I found their service to be of a high quality. The survey report was very comprehensive and included lots of photographs. I received the report within 72 hours of the appointment. So I am happy to recommend.
RICS Home Survey Level 2
The Level 2 Survey, previously known as the Homebuyer Survey, is recommended for conventional houses, flats or bungalows built from common building materials and in reasonable condition.
Your survey report will include advice on repairs and ongoing maintenance, including issues that need to be investigated to prevent serious damage, any legal issues and information on location and local environment.
RICS Home Survey Level 3
This survey type, formerly known as a Building Survey, the Level 3 is recommended for older or run-down properties or homes that are unusual or altered. The survey includes a thorough inspection and detailed report on a wider range of issues, including visible defects and potential problems, in addition to an outline of repair options.
Snagging Survey
A snagging survey is perfect for those purchasing a new home. Our chartered surveyors will visit the property and provide a visual inspection of the inside and outside of the property.
We will discuss our findings, and provide you with a detailed snagging report that explains in detail our findings. This survey can highlight any issues with the property that need to be addressed before the purchase is complete.
