RICS Home Survey Level 2
Our Level 2 survey, previously called a Homebuyers Survey, is ideal for gaining an overview of the condition of the property you are looking to buy. This type of survey is ideal for more modern homes - built in the last 50 years. Those in good condition and made of conventional materials are also suitable for this survey.
Your report will be jargon-free and easy to understand, detailing any obvious concerns with the property and giving you a better understanding of the makeup of the home. This way you can continue with the property purchase with peace of mind.
RICS Home Survey Level 3
The Level 3 survey, formerly known as a building survey, is best suited for older homes, those in poor condition or homes with extensive work completed on them. Period homes such as Victorian properties are an ideal example of this.
This level of survetincludes a more thorough look at the property, highlighting all visible concerns and problems and reviewing all safely accessible areas. The report will be complete with pictures of anything the surveyor wishes to reference and suggestions or recommendations from the surveyor based on their findings.
This will enable you to make an informed decision on your property purchase and can also provide you with details that could support the negotiation of the property price.
