RICS Level 2 Survey (HomeBuyers Report)
The RICS Level 2 Survey, also known as the HomeBuyers Report, is the most popular survey that is best suited for newer properties and properties with standard construction. Your surveyor will inspect the interior and exterior of the property, reporting on any defects in the property, its condition, and any actionable repairs.
Our surveyors conduct the survey according to the RICS format, meaning that it has been designed to cover all aspects of the property. However, it is more of an abbreviated version of the Building Survey.
RICS Level 3 Survey (Building Survey)
The RICS Level 3 Survey, also known as a Building Survey, is the most detailed report and is best suited for older properties and properties with non-standard construction. Your surveyor will inspect all interior and exterior aspects of the property, including areas that are hard to access. They will then provide a detailed report that is easy to follow, explaining any potential defects and reparation advice, including estimated costs.
Our surveyors will also be on hand following the report to answer any questions you may have and offer advice on how to proceed when it comes to addressing any issues highlighted in the survey.
We also offer fully qualified party wall services and are able to work on behalf of the building owner or the adjoining owner. We are members of the FPWS meaning that our party wall surveyors can be relied on for sound advice and feedback. Our team pride will always strive to maintain a positive rapport with your neighbours. We also provide advice for designers and architects and can act impartially between neighbouring parties if deemed suitable.
