"The van was there early, the men were friendly and accommodating. They were methodical and careful with all items and made sure that things were covered and secured properly when loaded onto the van. They put the bed and tables together for me in the flat and made no issue about anything. I paid slightly more as included the additional insurance. Also, any additional time taken is charged by the hour. Would definitely recommend this company. "

Removals Zone is an experienced company with services beyond relocations; we remove, clean, clear, and dispose of rubbish for businesses and homes alike.
"Overall, I think the removals company was good value for money and the costumer service was on point. As soon as I used "compare my move" to get quotes I received a phone call from removals zone swiftly. She assessed the contents for moving and requirements and provided me with a quote promptly. On the day of moving, I received a phone call from the customer services to give an approximate estimation of the removals crew to the nearest half hour. If I had to mention one negative thing, it would be that the quality of the removals crew which was at best amateur. The removals crew did not use the removals blankets to protect a few items of my furniture from the surface of the vehicle from scratches. The use of such blankets is stated will clearly be provided free of charge on the invoice once the deposit has been paid. I have moved every year for the last 6 years, and this is quite a basic thing that I think just needs a bit more of a removals crew training to provide that finesse approach."

"From the beginning Paula was professional, helpful, friendly and calm. Everything was done in a timely manner and she couldnt have been more helpful when our move date was up in the air- phoning me with a last minute cancellation which allowed us to move! The logistics team (James) was also very professional, working out that we would need 2 days packing before move day and scheduling this on for us. The packing team was Stefan and Vassi, they were fabulous too! They arrived on time, were friendly, professional, efficient and respectful- we felt total confidence in them handling our things. They worked incredibly hard, and everything was packed with full care and attention. Move day arrived and Stefan and Vassi were joined by a larger team who were also respectful and efficient. They all worked tirelessly until the job was done. Cos freight were brilliant! Moving is a stressful time and they took lots of the worry away. "

"Guys doing the moving are not actually with Cornerstone Removals but they were great! They hire other smaller removal companies to do the actual removal. They were very professional and hard working. Customer service at Cornerstone has much to be desired. They were very good when trying to secure the business obviously but then after that it was just a lot of confusion. Communication was bad and they tried to make me pay more than I agreed on. Overall it went well but dispute over the payment made moving day just a tad more stressful than it shouldve been. "

According to our data, the most popular month to move house in Twickenham was August, with 13% of our users choosing this date. This is unsurprising as the Summer months are often favoured amongst British movers. With longer, brighter days and warmer weather, it’s a favoured time of year to move house across the nation.
Summer is also the most popular time of year to move for the rest of the UK, with August again coming on top. As the weather brightens and the school holidays lower the chance of disruption, August is a great month to move house with the perfect removal conditions. The least popular time of year to move house in Twickenham is Winter, with February specifically being the least popular month - only 5% of our users chose this date. This is understandable as the cold, wet weather is incredibly off-putting, with the risk of snow making the journey much more daunting.
In Twickenham, Friday was the most popular day of the week to move house, with 28% of movers choosing this as their moving day. With the weekend following closely behind, a Friday move ensures plenty of free time to recover, unpack and settle into your new home. Despite it being the cheapest option, Sunday was the least popular day to move house in Twickenham, with only 6% of removals having been booked on this particular day.
However, if you’re moving on a budget, you may not want to reject a Sunday move so quickly. If it fits within your personal schedule, choosing this day could save you a lot of extra money, allowing you to save more for the new property.
