It was extremely hot the day of our move to the two individuals did a fantastic job of moving everything up to a fourth floor walk up in a quick and reliable fashion. They did a fantastic job.

Baski and Shiv were impeccable- right on time, took a great deal of care handling our preposterous furniture and art and got it through the move entirely unscathed.Helped remove and rehang the narrow internal door, had a bag for our mattress and clingfilmed sensitive glass parts. Pure class!Baski is a great driver and navigated the van from south to north London with ease.On the other end we had four floors to ascend; used the lift to get our furniture up fast whilst being mindful not to keep it blocked for too long to aid the other residents. Not a single wall scuffed or object damaged.Polite, friendly and with a can-do attitude.All of this in 34o heat!Final cost was just shy of 450 which was great for four hours solid work - book without hesitation Read more

The service was impeccable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. However, there was a hidden "3 hour minimum charge" that I was surprised with at the end, so despite the job taking 1 hour, i was charged tripple the amount. This was not made clear enough, if at all. Read more

My move was especially challenging as when we arrived at the new property, the previous tenants had not emptied the flat, there was filth and junk everywhere and 3 people off their heads on drugs in the flat, at 10 in the morning! The two removals gentlemen that came with the van were calm, did not complain and did not get annoyed (unlike me) and just got on with the job in hand while I was about to lose the plot! Having them there meant that I managed to not lose the plot and just get on with it despite the challenging circumstances. I have to say they were excellent and also very reasonably priced. They were delayed in arriving by a couple of hours due to the earlier removal job (but the delay was due to customers key access), they communicated throughout the delay, and management organised a second team to come instead. Very shortly after I submitted my requirements I was contacted by 4 different companies. I decided to go with the cheapest option initially. Unfortunately 36 hours before the move, the company cancelled the move.I ended up booking the move last minute with Affordable Moves. Very slow on the day. Dragging each hour as much as can as they charge per hour. They are not dressed appropriately for health and safety. I was left to guard the removal van by myself in a new area I did not know for 2 hrs in the cold whilst they moved my furniture taking there time between each trip to the van. Very quick and fair price! Called them on Friday night, got a call straight away and arranged to come the day after at 10am. Everything went very smoothly. They showed up on time and were very professional.
