Summary: Surprisingly pleasant 1st removals experience, reasonably priced, helpful, easily contactable with a team of happy, conscientious workers. Detail:Initial visit was informative and quick to assess requirements and flexible to what we wanted.Follow up quote was prompt, comprehensive and reasonably priced (especially with no price hike as it was short notice unlike others).Deposit was proportionate too.Michael was easily contactable and prompt to reply throughout and understanding/reassuring on delays and stress of what became completion and move on same day.The 4 men in 2 vans were proactive, accommodating of requests (very considerate of not letting the cat out!) and worked together to solve issues. They were upfront about minor issues (a small scuff to a wall moving a wardrobe upstairs, and a loose chair leg that was actually like that before they moved it).Probably my best indication that my experience wasn't a one off was that they were cheery throughout even with delays, on a very hot day that ran into overtime (clearly stated in advance and again at a reasonable rate). We had a lot of furniture and boxes that need moving and we could see them carefully planning how best to load the van so as to protect everything. My partner and I were moving from leeds to birmingham and used a comparison site to compare services. I heard from Michael and immediately felt at ease with how relaxed he was. He let me know that he was in the nearby area and popped in to have a look. All the staff were friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to accommodate us and our things on a distance move that lasted 10 hours due to completion not occurring until late afternoon. They were calm, flexible and reassuring throughout and helped formulate a back-up plan if completion didn't happen. I got quotes from a few companies but Aim were the first to call me back and the only ones to follow up after quoting to see if I had any questions.On removal day three men turned up and they were all so friendly and kind. I was moving on my own with a toddler and was a little nervous, but they were patient, chatted to my little girl, and were extremely efficient at moving everything.They listened to requests of where to put everything in the new house, assembled my furniture and were very fast - done hours earlier than I expected. I would 100% recommend Aim Removals. From the very beginning of the service, it was fantastic. We had Michael round to assess our property for a quote, was very professional and answered all questions I had. Then was very helpful with the uncertainty of dates due to waiting on solicitors. Very accommodating. Then the day of the move was just a breeze. We had 4 lads, and they just made the whole experience stress free. They knew what they were doing and to be honest at times felt a bit in the way as they just did it all. We would not have been able to do it without them. We moved from a 4-bedroom house over 4 floors, so we definitely needed the help. We didnt get our keys until after 3pm on the day for our new property and the lads were very laid back by the fact it was getting late.
